Same right which Gauri got to stake Om's emotions, feelings his family's feelings and best of all his reputation to save his life. Yes she has staked Om's reputation. See what is image of Om is portrayed in front of family that he is sleeping with a girl but is not ready to accept the relationship or he is using and throwing a girl after making a relationship with her. Even-though none of his family member said on the face that but they might be thinking in same way.
In a same way Om is trying to save the life of unborn child. He wants to protect that kid from world's humiliation. He wants to protect the kid from wrong upbringing of that kid by hand of woman he thinks have no character.
If Gauri has right play with emotions of Om and Om's family and infact conspire just to protect Om's life who is adult than Om too has right to decide about the kid Gauri is claiming that is his. She is lying maligning his reputation, ready to break his heart and trust one more time to save him from BM.
You are seeing he is taking decision for kid but nt seeing that even after not 100% sure that kid is his he is ready to take responsibility of kid and tolerate Gauri for 6 months not throwing Gauri saying I don't trust kid is his. What more you want to get to prove strong character and goodness of Om. He is ready to take chance even if it is 1% possibility that kid is his. His Only mistake is he is not able to trust Gauri which Gauri herself given him reasons for other than that there is nothing wrong in Om's decision because he wants to protect his family from Gauri at the same time wants to give rights to his unborn child. Even in this distrust he trust her words.
Imagine the level of trust he has on Gauri's oath(who for him is characterless, liar, gold digger) that he suspected his own conviction and character to believe that kid is his.

Everyone's saying that the kid is his, Gauri's carrying Om's baby,it's next scion of the Oberois, except Rudy in IB nobody said that it's her kid too.

Did she say that I will take care of the kid by myself, don't care about it, Or did she say indirectly that this kid is your responsibility?

He is blunt, can't fake it, says cynic words -but that's honesty right? He is already making her know that not to keep any hopes in this relation, better than a betrayal or broken hopes at the end, eh???

I would like to add some descriptions of Omkara, 'coz I see that people keep forgetting that-

The guy is flawed of highest order, he is not an alpha, who will make everything perfect, or will take any heavy promises or responsibilities on shoulders, he will only take up those which he knows he can fulfill efficiently, whichever promises, relations or responsibilities he is not able to take, he will say it on your face- and yes, he is very blunt, no roses or cherry in that!!!

He is perfectly imperfect -and that's his charm!

Edit - I forgot to add this one, he just got to see how a gold-digger mother Kamini treated her son (Shivaay, About Mahi can't say yet) and how another woman who became his legal mother controlling his life and feelings (separated him from his love, nastiliy) , in short how he is seeing how his brother's in a clumsy situation, dreading about when the truth strikes him how he would blow up, witnessing in the lieu from safeguarding from the truth, how he is already shattered.

So he will surely not want that future for his kid, so trying to tackle in his way

Its not about Omkara fans or supporting Omkara,Which father will want to keep a mother for his child whom he knows as harmful for his family,He has seen her trying to kill Buamaa though it is not true but for Gouris misfortune Omkaras timing of seeing the things were wrong but still what he has seen as of now about Gouri will definitely put a father to think of saving his child..

Mother is not the one who just give birth to the child but the one also who love her child,adored the child,protect the child from all harm , unfortunately as flawed real character Omkara is ,cant see those in Gouri and taking the necessary steps..

Being a viewer its very easy for us to see what is fact and who is in fault,but in a real life circumstances a character like Omkara with all his flaws doing exactly what an worried father of an unborn child can do..

i said only from what i read in a few comments here n there...i'm the one who say everyone have their right to express their view even on ATs when others label it as negativity...so don't preach me pl...yes since i'm not regular here everyone can pounce on me😃*how easy right*...as if there are no fan wars happening here and i'm the one instigating it in an otherwise peaceful forum ..
actually those who ask to see the other side themselves refuse to see the other side...
let omkara loathe gauri more n more and never accept her as his wife... but the child equally belongs to the mother also...if he can't stand gauri in his house then kick her out and give her the alimony...or if he cares for the child and wants to have it then he should be ready to tolerate gauri also not as his wife but as the mother of his child...it is not only gauri there are many others in his house including himself to take care of the child and keep it away from that characterless woman as much as possible, after all if gauri is preggy with his child it is his mistake also so this much of punishment he should also take rather than simply kick gauri out and have the child alone...

PS...i'm also a omkara fan and started watching this show for omkara only and gets equally irked as other om fans when he is not getting his due...and i like gauri also...but whoever i feel is wrong at a particular track i call a spade a spade...thats it...so no sugar coating of my favourites from my side...
