And the thing is makers already made her fall in love with Om and just to run the love story they can't show Om falling in love that easily so they will make him say all the things and they continue this hatred for no reason just to keep this story alive. Om is not Mahan and very much human he had his own flaws but he really does so many things for his family or even Gauri. He actually go for sacrificing his happiness for others. But I hate the things he is blamed for the good things he do not for actual flaws.
Like in Drunk scene Gauri should have pointed out his hypocrisy how he is lying for his family so why her lie is wrong not for the wedding which he did to save her without any of his selfish reasons.
Why question his goodness rather question his hypocrisy.
Shivaye (I am not expecting it from family or dadi as they never know Om) should have known Om will not be happily marrying when he knows his family in a chaotic mess and he is mainly responsible for clearing it. He should have understand there must be some reason for Om taking these steps. This shows Shivaye kind of thinks Om is selfish.
Goodbye scene also which was beautiful shot. Gauri said blame it on her knowing perfectly how bad Om is with lies. She also think Om is selfish even after what he has done for her and still expect Om to see her goodness. Om say to family or not doesn't is not the question but her mouthing these dialogs show how low she thinks about him that he will conveniently blame it on someone to save his skin which she know he never did as with her he had always done the opposite. So her saying these dialogs are wrong at various levels. Devotee always think god can not do wrong or blame other and for her Om is god so how she expect him to do this.
