This MS is nothing but placebo BS for all of us DBO fans. They needed the family together to push the story on IB forward, tho I don't really see the need for that. Is Shivaay's good deed of the day of bringing Gauri back,( which idk how that came about so fast... did Shivaay just believe whatever Gauri told him? Is that like the Great Wall of Shivaay? ) going to offset his disbelief in his wife's claims of his mom being the mastermind behind the whole NT drama?

Granted no one really wants to believe their mom is actively scheming against them but tell me Shivaay, would the situation have been any different had it been Shakti, Dadi, Rudy, Om or even Jhanvi? Anyone from your core family and you'd have reacted in the exact same manner.

But wo chodo... The problem with DBO doesn't exist with Gauri not asking the right questions or dropping the right hints. It exists with Omkara being deaf and blind. What's the point of forming the best possible argument if it is being conducted against a wall? No matter who says what, be that his own mom or Bua Maa, Omkara is clearly not listening to anyone. And he's clearly going to continue to see what he wants to see. Gauri is just the scapegoat and having to bear the brunt of his frustrations with himself.

At the moment, I am questioning myself if he was really all that emotional after the CPR scene because she'd been in danger of dying... as he certainly didn't seem worried about her life in today's episode when she fainted and he wondered if she'd actually consumed poison... he seemed more worried because it was he who'd told her to do it.

Add in the Bua Maa drama that kicked off today and I see this shit show going off the rails soon.

MS started great. The brothers got to be together again. ObBros were back. The ObBahus were allowed to bond. We got to see Shivaay-Gauri and hints of their affectionate relationship. Yaay. But now what? Rudy is gone. Omkara has NO involvement in Shivaay's issues and vice versa. Yes, the rasams are happening but everyone involved in them are moving on their own separate tangent of thoughts. Jhanvi-Pinky had a scene today about their respective DILs but was it really necessary? Matlab..na bhi hota toh kya farak padta? Jab saare bhai alag alag hi hain toh SANGAM kaisa? Just to set up rasams which blatantly favor one over the other?

But leave IB. Let's not discuss their issues here. US. DBO. Apni baat karte hain. And you said it so well with the problem being with Omkara's refusal to see or hear Gauri's side of things. She keeps making points that would make any sane person at least CONSIDER that maybe everything is not what it seems. But Omkara? He just stands there so convinced in his self righteousness. I don't agree with his mothers forcing the shaadi on him. But that gives him no right to treat Gauri the way he does. Why does he think Gauri is forcing herself on him? How is everyone left off the hook but never Gauri? Why is her very existence her fault?

No no, he was emotional. Nothing can take away the beauty of the CPR scene. But that beautiful scene which marked a decisive progress in Rikara's story..it was sacrificed for the sake of this MS drama which is just the REPEAT of all we've seen already! Gauri could now die and Omkara wouldn't bat an eyelid. "Tumhein bacha ke main barbaad hogaya hoon.." f**k YOU MISTER the girl almost DIED trying to save YOUR family from Svetty! You ungrateful little thing! We get ONE week of goodness in this show followed by two months of headdesking stuff. And i just can't deal with it anymore...I'm tired.

Actually rikara story is only about om misunderstanding and useless anger. They don't have anything fundamental and basic story.

The more I watch the show, the more I'm convinced this is toxic alpha male syndrome. Omkara's actually being more caustic towards Gauri and repeatedly going over the same things because even the thought that she could be just a tad bit correct and he wrong, is messing with his head because the implications of that would be catastrophic as far as Omkara is concerned.

It would tear away at the foundation of this new personality that he's created to combat his life problems which his older, softer personality couldn't handle. So he finds it easier to just be deaf and blind to her, believe the she-devil he's created in his mind is the real one and crush any notion that he could be wrong.

I'm not trying to rationalize his thinking, because my explanation for it sounds stupid, even to me but there's no other satisfactory reason for Omkara to behave in such a manner that stands in opposition to everything he used to believe in.

At least your explanation is far more believable than what the actual writer of the show threw at us - "He is in pain" 😳

I'm just baffled at the way Omkara gets no spotlight in the drama. Why aren't we privy to what goes on in his mind when he's alone? The conversations he has with himself? Because we don't get it, we don't know where he actually stands. Gauri gets SO many monologues that we can paint a very clear picture of what her actual intentions are. But Omkara? Except a few very vague flashbacks here and there, we don't really get to see what is going on in his mind. Jerk behavior can be excused to an extent if we know why it is happening? Everything is just so half baked when it comes to him..
