Annoyed With Rinse&Repeat [RiKara]

I'm getting tired of this repetitiveness. We're going round and round in loops but not actually GETTING anywhere. At this point I don't even understand what the f**k is it that is planned for RiKara. All they've been giving us is scenes which have no proper build up or follow up. Yes, today's episode was much better in terms of DBO screenspace. But like...point kya tha?!

Drunk!Gauri was spectacular. She was asking all the right questions, not taking any of Omkara's shit be it verbally or physically. I loved her. LOVE! Matlab ishq level love. And like always Omkara had no answer. I really thought she'd drop a hint about what was actually going on in the wedding of KT-Gauri where Omkara first started hating Gauri but the conversation remained vague till the end. A glass of water had her sobered up and back to the hesitating, simpering idiot who stammers through two sentences despite not having done anything wrong. Once again we saw Omkara throwing Gauri out of the room. But for what? Once again she was brought back in the room. Once again Omkara accused her of doing dramas. Once again she said she'd leave. Once again he left the room. We've seen it all before, POINT kya hai?

I don't understand Omkara. I don't understand his intentions. He is making Gauri do everything and she IS doing it. But phir bhi usse takleef hai? CVs are just looking for pathetic excuses to keep them together but not giving them ANY legit reason to remain so. At least with Khidki Pe Khadi Svetty we were getting scenes that were genuine nok-jhok. But for how long can this one sided hate go on? When will that tubelight moment happen and Omkara will realize that maybe not all is right with his version of the story? Gauri's words about Omkara not knowing the entire truth..it's nice to hear that but these are really just empty words. Once the scene is over, they are forgotten. And we're again getting rinse and repeat of the same problem.

"Chali jao."
"Hum jaa rahe hain."
"Tum gayi kyun nahin?!"
"Humein rok liya gaya."
"Sab drama hai."
*tears*

And repeat.

I don't know WHO to blame. Is it the MS? Are they deliberately not giving them any actual progress because they are saving it for DBO's normal programming? Or do the writers really don't know what to do with RiKara? They don't have a love story. They don't have a tasshan story. They don't even have a proper hate story. They have NOTHING. They are just...there.

The pro-MS people accuse us of being negative about the whole thing and that we can't appreciate the whole family being together. YES! We don't appreciate it! Why should we?! Our characters, the ones we are really invested in, they are going nowhere! If we complain today toh I know what we'll get to hear, "Oh but you got such nice SS! You got such a big scene!" Arey scene ka KYA karen when it comes from nowhere and leads to nothing? We don't want scenes! We want a proper bloody track!!

Did i love the RiKara bits today? YES! Will I watch them again? Of course I will. Drunk!Gauri was a sight for sore eyes. But all of this is temporary. It's akin to dangling lollipop in front of us when all we want is a proper meal which is not being given to us. Excuses. That's all these scenes are. The last proper episode of DBO was when Svetty was ousted. And by then we were done with the permanently frownyKara. But the second this MS started, amnesia struck and we are FORCED to watch the scenes which narratively don't make any sense considering how DBO was going on! IB's story is actually moving forward with the MS. DBO's isn't. THAT'S the issue that we have with the MS. Why is it so hard for people to understand?!

Exactly, what are they trying to show? We are heading no where. The story is stuck and so is their relation. For a moment I thought we may get some sensible Omkaara as Gauri was talking all sensible today, but no we are back to square one. All that he did was to pour water over her and was back to chali jao iss kamre se and all that.

I'm seriously waiting for Omkara to talk some sense.

Ps Even I enjoyed RiKara to the fullest.

Why people are expecting RIKARA STORY MOVING VIA MS 😆

My sentiments exactly! It would have been great had she dropped a hint about KT in her drunken state. Anything that would have compelled OM to give her some leverage, he needs to reassess the situation. There's no continuity of scenes neither follow up and that is the most annoying part, you're absolutely right.

As much as I loved Rikara today I am definitely not pleased at the illogical scenes they are shoving upon us just to keep the fandom happy...

Omkara time and again sends her out and asks her to go away and she is brought back by someone or the other..This is done to death now... Will they do it using each and every member of the family?😕

The questions gauri put in front of Om were on point. But somewhere he himself doesn't have an answer to all those..

He is totally unaware of the happenings in his life( or let me tell CVs are)

The part I adored the most in the epi was gauri taking a stand for herself and her step to move out of the room and omkie being the gentleman he is ,him leaving the room...Somewhere in this scene I felt it was the real Om and Gauri we were introduced to..

Hope the CVS stop beating round the bush in the name of giving Rikara SS..

I am hoping end of MS will put an end to this...

Honestly, we are getting the same scenes again and again with just unees bees ka faraq. The point of the scene remains the same. This scene was just the longer and intoxicated version of their first night scene when Gauri says to Omkara, "Aapko Chulbul mein hamari burai nahin dikhi aur hum mein Chulbul ki sachai." Heck, Omkara had the same EXPRESSION in both the scenes. Setting change hai, point ek hi hai. And idk if it was Omkara the gentleman who offered to leave the room. Right now Omkara is just coming across as a coward who wants things to go his way but without anyone blaming him for any of it. He's just conveniently putting Gauri in front like a scapegoat and Gauri realizes that.

If anything TODAY was the day we could've gotten a HINT of Omkara actually considering what Gauri was saying. But he was already dismissing whatever she was saying while she was saying it. He has no interest in listening to her. And the thing is we KNOW that. This has been his attitude for days now. Can we please move on from it? What's the POINT of Gauri asking all these real questions when they keep falling on deaf ears? She should just move out but kya karen..CVs bhi majboor hain. Everyone HAS to stay in OM all the time -_-

Om is like a speaker now he doesn't want to listen or think about anything but just keep shouting at anything and everything.he never thought about his own thought process, he knows she ran out of her own wedding still he has nothing to think now in todays episode she showed him mirror still he is ignorant about his own situation yet still he keeps blaming the whole world for the situation he is into right now.I can't believe I am bashing the same character I loved and I started watching.

I think makers shouldn't use sachai truth from omkara's mouth from now onwards coz he is no more what his ideologies was in past,so he should just stop calling gauri liar.

One good thing Shrenu is one hell of a good actor her voice modulation and acting as drunk gauri was mind-blowing and I think she will shine through the show.

Om's character keeps deteriorating the more they drag his MU. Already there's no hint of the IB wala Omkara in him but with the Svetty Ka Khalaas track we finally saw a hint of SOME decency in him when he genuinely cried at the thought of losing Gauri. But wo bhi gayab hogaya. He has become so...selfish. When Gauri fainted today and he thought, "Kahin iss ne sach much zeher toh nahin kha liya?" There was no guilt in his tone, no concern for her in his expression...all concern he had was for HIMSELF because he had suggested that to her. Matlab kya hai ye? I snorted when Gauri told Om to learn from his elder brother. YE din aagaye hain? YE?! The fan-favorite Omkara of IB is being told to learn things fro Shivaay jisse wo khud saara saara din gyaan deta rehta hai. CVs are just playing a joke on the fans, that's all.

Shrenu is amazing, no two thoughts about it. She does justice to everything the show throws her way.
