i came to know that if cvs show a career oriented or working woman then it will lead to trp decrease, only sankari , pati parmeshwar, drama queens kind of bahu only can gain trp. yeh hai mohabbatein who use to come at 11 clock slot is a super hit serial, when initially it use to hit trp charts with showing ishita as a working woman.

i think sp should change its trends where it is promoting NAYI SOCH

I don't understand why working women or career women are considered as not sanskari or selfish or whatever? Why are they not ideal like these Sacrificing Devi Bahu's who don't care about anything but their Sasural and those people's happiness? Almost to the point of not having ANY life or indetity leave alone self respect?

The more the FL cries and acts as a sacrificing great Devi and even a doormat, the more TRP audience seems to love them and relate to them. Yes and Drama Queens too. They seem to get a lot of love as well! But sensible, straight talking, working women? Not on your life! Just don't know what is wrong with people's mindset, but I think SP who go on and on about Nayi Soch, need to give it up and show something new! Even DABH (which I never followed) had a woman fighting to get a career. But all the crap she had to go through for it?

Ishita was a professional woman. She was not really TRP fodder initially I guess? But later even she was turned into some sacrificing Devi type! SP need to re-evaluate what they are showing and if it goes with their claims of Nayi Soch because many times it does not! Otherwise it just becomes a slogan with little to no meaning!

Best point is the girls portraying these self-sacrificing, sanskari bahus are themselves pretty much independent and working women and producer herself is independent and sucessful businesswomen. But what even they can do when trp come from non working sacrificing bahus.

when SP is promoting their Nayi Soch concept then why are they still sticking to the traditional women who used to sit at home and bear the tortures of the family people and never think of stepping outside the four walls of the room..??

I have been thinking about this since a long long time.. whenever i think of any on screen couple and get impressed with their chemistry and love life, the first thing that comes to mind these days is all these women are just sitting at home and solving family problems.. is it really necessary for the women to become housewives and serve their in-laws and support their husbands and then win back their love?? why cant working women do the same?? just because they are going to their working places and are in company with the outsiders that definitely does not make them less caring and supportive towards their family??

Since you all are discussing about YHM, i would like to add that the show was doing good when ishita was initially working. that i agree but tell me for how many minutes was she shown in hospital or chamber..?? Once in 2-3 episodes she used to get a call from the hospital and had to rush to attend the patient at midnight and for the rest of the days she just used to sit at home and keep herself busy in solving the affairs of her sis or bro-in law🤢 is this what the people of recent times still prefers that a woman has to be a housewife and spend time with her family to prove her supportive nature??

highly ridiculous... I will always be against this Tv serial trend of showing "bechari ghar pe rehene waali bahu"..

coming to our own shows.. there in IB Anika is just sitting at home ever since she got married to Shivaay and here in DBO gauri is already shown to be the least educated among the people of Oberois.. 5th standard pass.. who will give her a job ?? Gul has already set grounds to make gauri sit at home.. Just waiting for Rikara to get married off.. after that gauri will be shown dealing with jhanvi-tej-svet and the numerous -ve cameos who will be entering the show in near future..

on a light note, Even boys do follow these hindi serials and some of them, who i personally know, too have started bearing the notion that their partners will have to be at home 24*7 else their love life will never become that romantic, like the way they are shown in movies or daily soaps..😆😆

just imagine the heights of stupid thoughts..!! 🤢

Ironic. The working and independent woman have to pretend to be sacrificing door mats to get the viewership of women who don't like women like them, but women who are like themselves. The independent women and their livelihood in this space, seems to be dictated by the bitter bahu types who love to see other women suffer. Maybe even more enjoyable for them to see modern working women have to pretend to be regressive to get an audience for their shows.

It's the revenge of the bitter bahu's who's lives and aspirations got cut short. So now their source of entertainment is watching other women suffer. Pretty twisted, but I think there is something to this theory! Sad but true. Women are other women's worst enemy sometimes.

Jassi jaisee koi nhi was all about politics n was super hit

Kussum was a working girl n the show was chartbuster

Priya from Bade Achhe lagte hain worked for a job with a meager salary of 30k even after her marriage to the third richest man of India n the show was among top 5

It's just that SP doesn't want to take chances

yes but see.. neither ishitha nor priya was actually shown working regularly.. once in a while the topic of their being professional used to pop up and we used to get reminded that yup these heroines are working.. mostly from morning till mid night they are always dealing with family issues😆

yaa i understand that in a love based show, we all are greedy for more screen spaces of the leads and for that reason let alone the heroines, even the heroes are made to be at home mostly..

and sadly nothing can be done about it..

we can never get a perfect fairytale tv serial😆😆 its really difficult to meet the expectations of all the viewers at one time..

Y is it that career oriented working women or successful women are not sanskari.y is it potrayed dat they are shown non familt loving.plz career orientted women are ssanakari they love their family.and most imp their family is very supportive.weder inlaws or her life partnee and parents.infact one of my frndz cleared her proff exams aftr maraige and supporrltive inlaws and works too.tho plz sp dont potray ghar mein bithne wali ladki as sati savitri.and workng person as not sanskari and selfish.nayi soch tho khair chodo.achi aur sahi soch.ka zamana hai.and now my all hopes are on saumya.anika and gauri se tho umeed hi chod di hai.bas who dono act acha karti hai.and respectuve ml ke saath chemistry is d only salvage.
