Probably yes, Shiv and Parvati are the most divine and ideal couple and Gul had always hinted earlier that Om will have the most intense love story, so yes probably they are into something

I was seeing parallels in it, but this Shivratri marriage (all this hurrying with the marriage seems to have come from there ) confirmed by assumptions

Shiv Parvati are considered to be the most ideal pair in world, a pair which has overcome all the sorrows which could enter their fate, a couple which completes each other as they are the two beings created by the supreme ShivShakti, although we have not yet seen much of Gauri, but it is pretty clear and RiKara are not poles apart or opposites attract, they are actually supplementary to each other, while Omkara has changed himself completely for his mother, Gauri was ready to marry the Thakurs to ensure her mother's safety, both Omkara and Gauri and poetic at heart, while Omkara master's in the art of making the idols of God, Gauri makes clothes for God's idols. They literally complete each other

Among the Trinity, Shankar Bhagwan is the least materialist, unlike Vishnu Bhagwan, who own a complete Lok (Vaiknth Lok) and Brahma ji (Brahm Lok), Shankar Bhagwan stays on earth on Kailash Parvat, in the caves (not even a proper house), while the vahan of Vishnu ji is Gadud (the king of birds) and that of Brahma ji is lotus (the king of flowers), that of Shankar Bhagwan is a modest bull, Shankar bhagwan has the most modest dress among the Trinity, Omkara has been shown to be similar (at least in IB), who doesn't care about materialist things, who travels on local transport (he was doing the same n DBO too), wears the shabbiest clothes possible and didn't even take an hotel to stay in Bareily

Shankar Bhagwan is also known as Bhole Baba, as precisely He is very straight forward and take the people on face value, that is why most of the Rakshas and Asurs (demons) took boon from Him, similarly Omkara has been very nave, someone who could be easily illumined, that is why Ishana and Riddhima could so easily trap him, even today he said that he sympathizes with Kali Thakur(In fact I feel Kali Thakur is more of Bhasmasur, to whom Shankar bhagwan gave the boon and he then tried to kill Shankar Bhagwan using that boon, similarly Omkara forgave Kali and now he is trying to kill Omkara himself, so Shivaaye is analogous to Vishnu Bhagwan who would save him)

To all those who know about Hinduism, Shankar Bhagwan is the accepter of all wrongs, we dedicate to him the things we wouldn't consume ourselves, like Bel Patra, milk (only in month of Shravan, when during the rainy season non pasteurized milk is dangerous to our health), similarly Omkara has been subjected to all the wrongs, he saw the MMS of his sister which was meant for his brother, even otherwise Rudra seems to have been blaming Om for his mistakes since their childhood

This brings me to the last point of my analogy, During the Samudra manthan done by the Devetas and Asuras, many good things were churned out, which was distributed among the devas and asuras while Lakshmi ma went to Vishnu Bhagwan, however there was one bad thing which came out of it, which was Vish or poison, no one was ready to take it, however if left unused it would have destroyed the entire world so Shankar Bhagwan came forward and consumed it to save the world, right now Omkara is doing same by marrying (accepting) Swetlana who would have otherwise destroyed his family (of which he didn't take any good thing), however at that time Parvati Ma held Shankar Bhagwan by His neck to ensure that the poison doesn't cross his throat and enter His blood and thereby hampers him, so will they actually show Gauri being the barrier to save Omkara from the poison Swetlana

Another similarity which I thought was also ironic... Shiv also did not accept Parvati initially.. it was parvati that did alot of Meditation and prayer to eventually get Shiv.

Awesome post with beautiful explanation of Shiv Parvati analogy. True so fitting that they got married on Shivratri, the most auspicious day when one feels the closest to Shankar Bhagwan or to become one with him, spiritual awakening and upliftment of the soul to a higher plane.

A lovely analysis on Omkara, yes he is indeed showed analogy to Lord shiva. The way you said Lord Shiva's qualities are rightly described, was reminded of the stories I read.

Yes, indeed Gauri is gonna save him from Swetlana, without a doubt.

It will be good, if they handle the OmRi track well. Yes, Gauri has qualities of Parvati, like pair, and they do complete each other.
