Yes, the initial episodes of IB were good and well balanced and all three leads were shown. Their stories were all moving and it was interesting and fun. It was never dull, dragging or boring. O-Bros were the USP of the show. Then Ishana was scrapped and things kind of slowed down with Mallika track. (which was still a fun track, though a bit too long). But after that, thinks seemed to go haywire where the makers forgot the "Concept" of the show in the first place.

With the forced wedding everything started to focus only on ShiVika and from that point onwards Om nor Rudra were shown much, and RUMYA also got stalled. When fans protested they came up with DBO. If the show makers had stuck to their original concept this would not have happened. Now the USP of the show OBros is gone and they are in 2 shows. At least we are seeing OmRu's tracks in one show. Even I am not sure what of ShiVika they are going to show for 20 minutes every day. They will probably have Saas bahu stuff with Pinky mostly. The fun element of the show which was the Brothers and their bonding is gone. No one but the makers of the show are to be blamed for this. As for Omkara's tracks in IB, I am sure they will address them in time. ATM they are just trying to get his individual story established, and for that they need time. Same applies for Rudra. In between ShiTia 3rd wedding which has been happening since 2nd episode of IB, there is no time to show progression for others.

I have to say one more thing today as a Ishqbaaz fan. Please don't get me wrong or get angry with me for saying this but after watching DBO for a week and with due respect to Shrenu Parikh ( character of Gauri) she is a lovely girl and a good actor but I still feel the biggest mistake Gul made was Scrapped Ishanas ( Vrushika Mehtas ) Character completely. Though I like that now Kunal has his own show and a new love story. Rikara are good but still don't find the Ishana magic that was created by both Kunal & Vrushika.
Kunal and Vrushika had a diff spark. Ishqkara stayed in the minds of people even though they both hardly got any screen space or time to explore there love story. Imagine they created so much fire just by a few scenes what magic they would have created had Ishana made a comeback and got enough screen space with Omkara.
Even there last confrontation scene also had an immense impact where both had tears in there eyes. You could see the love & pain both.
Don't know why Gul gave us this half story and never thought of completing it.

Man why do u want rikara story to end soon and be prop to bhaiya bhabhi I just don't understand problem .Let dbo be success and never merge wasnt it enough tat K was prop for months let him get his sucess along with lee everything nees not start and end with Anika .They will manage how they have to no merger..And I disagree about vrunal and shrenal both hae different charm plus shrenu imo is better than vrushy acting wise

Please do not get aggressive. It's a discussion if that's what u feel than good for u.
Please don't compare two actresses acting wise that's technically not allowed on this forum. I have not made any direct comparisons between two FL in my post .
Also please read the post properly before commenting. Wat u have written and Wat am trying to say r two diff things, so if u don't agree do not post any further.

But I honestly don't know if the two shows can merge and the stories continue to move at the same pace. They failed at it for 8 months, hence a spin-off was needed. Or else Om and Rudra would have had to just keep doing guest appearances in their own show, and eventually leave. At least we were spared that coz SP believed in them enough to do this spin-off.

If they already changed the montage it's highly likely the two shows will continue as parallels.

I personally think they might show Om and Gauri return to the OM. DBO will of course continue but with OM as the setting. Cause Gauri also needs to bond with the rest of the Obrois. Then maybe Dadi's sister will come into OM?
Right now, I am only confused about how Rudra and Soumya's story will continue now that Soumya has supposedly left the house.

ditto.i dont want dbo to merge in ib.i will b happy with watever i get from dbo.
