Why so much problem for Saumya turning grey-negative?

Yes, even I have seen a lot of speculation and worry over Saumya turning grey. (Not on Instagram coz I don't go on it) But generally in IB forum etc. It's like people have a major issue with it. It's not like suddenly she will be shown as a serial killer or something. It's that they will show she has or had an agenda all along.

She may have come to OM to get revenge from Oberoi's but may have actually fallen for Rudra. We don't know what her total motivation was. I think it's an interesting twist. It will also be worth seeing exactly what her issue with them is. I just hope she is not a Kapoor sister. But either ways, if Sumo is from a villain family, and becomes guilty and decides she can't hurt Rudra, then Rudra and Saumya become a Romeo and Juliet story right away. That is always a universally appealing theme. I would actually like to see her TRY to execute her plan and not be able to go through with it. Because falling in love with the enemy is always a big no no, but a hugely popular theme.

If Gul and co can execute this, it will be an amazing twist.

I get where you are coming from. But just because Shivaay was shown grey from the start, or Om has been given reasons for turning grey, we can't then just say that Saumya's character turning grey is butchering. Because SHE will probably have good reasons to be grey too. Maybe the twist is that she was grey ALL along, and no one knew it. So how can this be character assassination? I have to agree with Juhi. People have less issues with grey males than with females. What is good for a man, is not seen as equally good for a woman. If a man after ALL his bad behavior still "deserves" the girl. Then a girl who wanted revenge for her family should still "deserve" the Male lead too. In this case, I don't see why Saumya should not "deserve" Rudra because she was not perfect and a Devi! It's time we all come out of this bubble of expecting female leads to be "Too good to be true". I am bored of it. Show us something else. Ishana if executed well would have been a GREAT idea. But it was not. Let's hope this one is!

I have no problem with grey FL. But, I am disliking this particular track of RumYa. If she is grey then why portraying her as the matured but cute, understanding one? If she wanted revenge, then why she distracted? But I will not give my verdict on this until I see how the track will unfold in DBO, it better be logical. Illogical reasons were the main Cause Ishana didn't work.

RumYa had the potential to be the different love story, Here neither the FL nor the ML was perfect. They both are absolute contrary. Even the other leads in IB or DBO has something common, but, RumYa didn't.

I hope they will give a proper logical track to them.

I am fed up with continuous comments of people on Gul's Insta post(her pic with Nakul) that don't make Saumya negative blah blah blah. Kaisa negative yaar wen these people enjoy seeing a jerk male lead? I bet if Rudra was turned grey then none of these people was have any problem. Why Saumya is called negative or vamp wen her male counterparts r never called d same? I bet if 2mrw Anika reveals of faking her love for Shivaay n taking over Oberoi property to take revenge of all his behaviour 4m day 1 then d same people wud start bashing Anika.

If Saumya wanted revenge due to her family from the Oberoi's how does that make her "Negative?". Isnt SHE doing everything for HER family, just like the Oberoi brothers are doing for theirs? If they do it Raas Leela and for her it's character dheela? This is such a double standard. Shivaay forcibly married Annika to save his family embarrassment at the wedding. He victimized someone, but he did it for "family", so he is excused.

Om is now in Barelliey throwing money at girls and throwing his weight around, so he can seal a deal that will help him to save his family. His Mother and her marriage? HE is also doing it for family. So again he is excused.

But by the same token, if Saumya (rightly or wrongly) thinks that Oberoi's are responsible for the ruin of her family and wants to get back at them, then she is a Vamp? She has NO excuse? Then it becomes "please dont make her negative etc etc". Did these same people have an issue with how negative Shivaay became during the forced marriage and right after? Om has so far not gone to that level, so I cant compare. But if he does, then will they have an issue with that either? So why is it a problem if Saumya is not "good?". The only real problem is that she is a woman. Plain and simple. Women dont have any excuse for being bad. Negative or grey men are "complex". But women are just "Vamps".

I can't say about others but for me the only story which is exciting in 3 brother is of rumya. Like shivay & om these stories r more or less just copy paste nothing new or different to watch. Bubbly chirpy girl hard stubborn guy is every 2 show script. With the saumya turning negative it will b something good & different to watch. We have EK hasina thi there also manipulative smart witty Durga was accepted na then why having problems with saumya.

& regarding changing saumya character frankly speaking uptil now nothing is much shown about saumya her past her story it's all hidden so bringing her to take revenge on obrois I would whole heartedly accept it.

Grey sumo just bring it on. I mean if ml like shivay & omkara r accepted or I should say loved & named their ruthless behavior as Tashan then sumo m definitely waiting for u

I gave an example of Vishkanya where d heroine was almost black but still she was loved more than d hero n another sweet heroine. Dat show still ran for almost 6 months wid 143 episodes. People watch shows like Begusarai, Udaan n Ghulaam where d criminal like black heroes gets d most innocent n harmless heroines but here Saumya can't even be grey even if she has valid reasons. I am fed up wid people requesting in her insta to not turn Saumya negative as there r other negative characters forgetting dat Saumya is also d lead who can be grey or negative but remain d lead. These same people praise Gul in her posts dat how Shivaay is such a hot n passionate man justifying all his acts but wen it comes to d opposite gender acting d same then she is called negative n vamp. I am afraid dat Gul will listen to idiotic people's wishes.

Bringing sumo as negative will make DBO worth watchable otherwise whether it's shivika or rikara both are same ni difference. There r people who watch these shows like me who aren't shipping anyone here for them don't u feel DBO would b boring. I have seen people praising shivay & om for their behavior & tagging as their Tashan but for me they r not & worst is FL accepting & crying begging for such man is all this can b accepted then Grey sumo should also b accepted. I just hope Gul don't change her mind I want such script or else u watch ib or DBO its one as same

I think only less people are accepting Om for his behaviour n some of them r people who r either new to d show or some ShivIka fans who all of a sudden got interested as Om is turned into Gul's another hero. But I still have hopes dat Om will not turn into Gul's another jerk😊.

Juhi I've already seen this on insta & I just ignored it. I don't know about others it's their choice I feel they have accepted om & shivay coz they aren't knew to them ml are majorly stubborn rude but a FL becoming Grey it's new for them & as it said any change takes time to b accepted. I feel Gul should definitely give a try for Grey sumo. She initiated spinoff atleast show something new here otherwise showing same stuff with just changed character name what difference would it make.
