Thank you for lifting my mood which was somewhere in the gutters seeing how they butchered my Omkara. I am going to take your advice and put my philosophy safely away and watch the show maybe (can't say coz I can't digest anything and everything shown in the name of drama).

Yaar dekho. GulKhan is a producer, she's not a CREATIVE producer. She has just one formula, everyone knows that. To expect any real depth from her is a fuzool expectation. Tragedy ye hai ke visually her shows truly stand apart. Intellectually, meh. So to enjoy her shows the best thing to do is shut off the brain as much as one can for 20 minutes and enjoy the happenings on screen. This is my funda for enjoying DBO because good lord I have waited for this day for Kunal Jaisingh for years. Ain't no uncreative lady's cliched tracks gonna stop me from enjoying this visual treat!!

Of course I will be talking of the philosophy once in a while if I like it. For instance, I truly enjoyed Gauri's fully faithful interpretation of love - to love and love without expecting rewards. Even Omkara's extreme cynicism and "bad boy"-giri I'm okay with because A) GulBegum doesn't know how else to write her leads and B) Aakhir kab tak bad boy rahega? He's wired differently so jald ya dair se he'll revert to his reality 😆 Till then..bring on ALLL the OmkaraKaliThakur show downs cuz bruh that's where the REAL fun is!
