I didn't find their performance to be bad at all. Maybe I'm missing something, but they met the energy levels required for the act, and did more than just throw gulaal around, sorry. I agree though the last part could've been better, especially their end pose, and I didn't get Geeta's comment "Ekdum Radha-Krishna jaise lag rahe the"😕 Their stance did not even resemble them.

Go amit-falon 😃 thanks for setting a whole new level in lifts and chemistry on DID....consecutive 7 grand salutes is very rare on DID....even the so-called "winners" from past seasons haven't gotten so many praises...so go AF 😃

When did they get 7 consecutive grand salutes, they must have 7 GS but i doubt they were consecutive... But you guys seem to be ardent fans so you know better... :) ? What does Mithun know about all these dances anyway.. I dont even know how they can make him a Grand Master. 😛

Falon has no expression..really.. Amit is really good.. Falon at best is the best in all the girls.

I don't know if you guys have seen "So you think you can Dance" America. They hardly have lifts in them and definitely not dangerous ones like in DID. I do give it to Amit and Falon for performing the dangerous stunts but comeon what if Amit fractures his arms?

Watch SYTYCD and you will know a great dancer doesn't need lifts. Contemporary dancing looks very beautiful in itself. No lifts needed.

Please don't even get me started on latin dances done on DID.. The best of the worst was by the first couple that got eliminated after being brought back as wild card.

Also when you all mention all these dances performed by A&F w/o lifts like hip hop and the car dance weren't all that great.. Their best performances were where they have done lifts. That's what they are best at.

Well let me first clarify the doubts about their grand salutes.They got 5 grand salutes in a row then after one performance they got the 6th one and after another performance they got a 7th one.And anyone who watches the show would know this not only their fans as it has been mentioned several times in the show.They are also referred to as the grand salute jodi.Now secondly you may not think that they deserved those salutes its your personal opinion and and some other people might think that they did.But as per the show and the mentors and the grand master of the show they deserved it.As per the show they have given max best performances you may agree with them or not but it is a fact that as per the show and the masters they are the most consistent jodi.Thirdly i watch SYTYCD at times and i know contemporary dance doesnt require lifts and amit-falon have done some dances with no or only one lift.Now you may again think that those performances arent great but hip -hop act was appreciated by the mentors and grand master,their flamenco with only one lift was also appreciated by all and their best act Tadad-Tadap in which they did pure contemporary only with one lift again was also appreciated by one and all.Now if you dont like these performances that have been appreciated by people who have spent years in the field of dance then i guess their is no point of discussion.

Alright for one I think Grand salutes are terribly overrated. Dada is no dancing genius here that a grand salute from him is the highest achievement!

the issue for me was that given their costume I expected a more Indian performance ad I am not just talkign about throwing gulaal around. it was their usual contemporary overwhelmed by lifts. Looked like a terible mismatch to me

As much as I love Amit-Falon I agree that it is now time for some variety. I think they will perform well in other styles as well. I would really like to see them do styles like bollywood, or may be locking-popping?? Having said that, I will not take away the cerdit from them. Whatever they have done so far is commendable and they deserve all the appreciation!! 😊

Well their Grand salute performance was appreciated not only by the grand master but also the other masters.If you think neither the grand master nor the other masters know anything about dance well then no point of discussion

As for other masters congratulating, they know what they are talking about...and I really have to give it to amit falon for getting the applause


the grandmaster doesnt knw what he is talking about..the masters on the other hand know...I only have issues with the "grand salutes" or "kya baat" being considered as a measure of performance

i dont want to take the credit from them as well.. i want to see something more than circus type lifts...i really liked their roshni se, their chair act and a fair bit of suraj hua maddham among others...


the complicated lifts require great sense of timing and expertise and it is already established that they are capable of that...i will not take that away from them as well..

when they can have a lot more wow factors than just lifts, why glamorise lifts...why not explore and experiment? If they get repititive, it will be their loss..they dont even have extra sob stories to attract votes...apart from being background dancers

Well ok then considering the masters comments as a measurement we can say that they are the jodi that have got appreciated for max performances.Others may have gotten it for 3 or 4 performance but they have got it for more.That does make them the most consistent jodi of all.And who needs a sob story shakti didnt have one and she won ,salman didnt have one and he won.And shakti mostly did contemporary and won salman mostly did wonderful lifts and won so i dont see why it will be a problem for Amit-Falon.But yes i am not supporting the fact that contestants should do one thing just pointing out that previous winners were also kind of repetitive and they won.Not that i want amit-falon to be repetitive would love if they did something different.

Yes lol I totally accept that among all the teams, they probably have been the most consistent.... i was peeved only with the whole deal with grand salutes/kya baats.

salman didnt exactly have a sob story but he had excessive screen time..his family was always given time on screen..the focus was given to what a great and generous soul he was repeatedly..sob story gets u more screen time... and more screen time has a possibility to translate into votes...


salman had wonderful solos too apartment from the wonderful lifts...so that provided a variety.....salman even messed up a few performances while trying something "new" or whatever..

amit falon probably deserve to win here but if they need votes they shouldnt be monotonous..the lifts are getting monotonous atleast for me
