😃 Geeta is not the one competing on the show.........if she is not qualified to be a judge, why is she on DID? why is she amongst the leading choreographers in India? 😃 oh that's right what do the people in the industry know aobut dancing........the real dance experts are sitting here on the forum.........😃

She is often shown as a dance master with classical dance as her forte in DID introductions... But not once have they mentioned the exact style.. I am sure she is not trained in Mohiniyattam or Kathakali or Manipuri or Kathak or Kuchipudi or Sattriya.. So Bharatanatyam and Odissi are left, but I have never seen any choreography from her so far in either of these two forms.. Hence I dont think she is trained in either of these.. She has knowledge of the mudras, but most of the mudras are common for the Indian classical dance forms...

Often her own style seems to be Bollywood and Freestyle.. Whatever it is, I like her choreography, the ones she did for Siddesh in DID1.. And some of her acts for Sunita.. There was always a charming simplicity in her acts and Siddesh executed them very well...

Bandicoot has been asking you nicely...and this topic is simply asking for Geeta's expertise, not criticizing her so don't make it a bigger deal than it has to be. Terence, Bill Gates, etc are not related to Geeta's expertise.

She is an expert lady:

1. She helps her contestants get eliminated in public voting asap.

2. She close her eyes when her contestants dance and keep it open when other's contestants dance.

3. She is a pessimistic lady, whose contestants always gave more than her expectation.

4. She is expert in crying.

It is my observation based on my expertise of watching DID.

I feel she is the person who as learned dance form the surrounding and not any particular dance academy, by taking part in any group dance, Bollywood dance, anyone can gain a lot working under any professional choreographer, she has worked a lot with them....

Just a course or a degree cannot make anyone master in it, its just a difference in the source form where we learn
