Which step are you talking about in 'I love you' that was vulgar? As far as i remember there are no legs apart steps in that song. But i dont think any of the dances in this season have been so vulgar.Jai-Vrushali's Hai rama,Shakti-Kunwar's Khuda Jaane and Dhak-Dhak were way bolder. But i still wouldn't call them vulgar its an expression of art.But i guess it depends on the taste of different people

Shakti-Kunwar's Khuda Jaane wasnt vulgar at all!
At least they werent all over each other all the time.
Their Dhak Dhak had to be .. well vulgar isnt the word bit it was supposed to be sensuous since it was supposed to be replicated from the movie

Well that's what even i said that they werent vulgar.I said that few steps in them were bold doesnt mean they were vulgar because shakti and Kunwar did it beautifully. That's my point when bold steps are given if the dancers do them correctly they appear beautiful not vulgar.Which shakti and kunwar did and so are this season's contestant's doing according to me.

I think people meant this step in this video below - at 02:58, where Falon does an upside down pose... She stays still like that for a while...

I think the beginning part of I Love You song act was bit over sensual for many viewers.. Also throughout the song, Falon's expressions would have appeared embarrassing to watch as a family... Just a guess... Here's the video, check around 0:40 part..

^ I watch DID with my family and its just too awkward to look at so we just skipped it.
Then I watched it later on YouTube all by myself but I didnt find any WOW factor in it..

Well that was a WOW moment for me it requires upper body strength and flexibility to do that.I think shakti did something like that as well in her first solo performance the one with the cage in which she does a headstand and then does her legs apart. And again it wasnt vulgar according to me.Any how i dont think we are going to agree with each other so let's just say that some people can find some steps vulgar and others can find them beautiful.

Legs upward step has been done by many dancers in solo, duo and groups.. In DID1, DID2, DID-LM, and many other dance shows.. But none of them appear to be embarrassing to watch for family viewers.. In all those acts, the focus wasnt on the legs but on dance since the transitions were smooth and quick following that step.. Parents would find too sensual steps to be embarrassing to watch along with their kids, and vice versa - it's just Indian culture, the way we were brought up.. Same way Indian couples dont kiss and hug in public places, I mean usually they dont!

In Falon's case, her expressions were too strong and sensual in the I Love You song act.. And in the bed act, her staying upward like that for a few seconds made it look bad for family folks I think.. Just a guess.. Yes, she is a very strong and aggressive dancer and I like her as a dancer.. Maybe that I watch the show alone, I dont feel as much embarrassed..

Well i agree bold steps should be done well or else they appear vulgar. And according to me falon does them well like shakti did.I have been brought up in India and very familiar with Indian culture.I have seen all these performances with my parents not once but many times and never felt embrassed.
