DID LM was also a new format for DID....it did fantastic TRP wise..like you said the fever was on...it was reaching 104 degrees ...then why is the ratings temperature so thanda now? In comparisons wise DID doubles is solely surviving cos of its talent and its already existing image...unlike what you think ...Geeta Maa is the sole reason India watches DID 😆.. and btw didn't know you saw the other shows for Mallaika and Mailika and not the talents....sahi chal raha hai pappu...😆...

😛 Arey Behna I know it's been a while since DID 1 and DID 2 aired so people may have forgotten....However someone just posted actual ratings from DID 1 and DID 2 on the forum clearly showing that the ratings for those shows at this stage were similar to DID Doubles...so people who thought DID 1 and DID 2 were averaging 5 or 6 ratings were either making it up or just wished that was the case......the facts say otherwise.....In fact ratings wise DID Doubles is a bit higher this week then DID 2 and 1 were at this stage.........😛 That the public watches DID for Geeta Ma or not is not proven but the high ratings do prove that people don't watch DID for Terrence and Remo.........DID is more popular then ever without Terrence and Remo in it.......😊 I've actually watched JDJ for Madhuri as I am a fan but I couldn't connect with the show other then with Madhuri......😊 and as for Chak Dhoom, it would take a whole lot more then Malika to make me watch that show......😛

whats the problem in talking about anyone here....d, terence, geeta, remo, shakti, jai anyone...its the DID forum na....so what? its like "here's where it all began..."

so where else do we write about something...like d choreographing...or binny coming in some show....or terry judging a new show...there's nothing ex about them....they are still very much part of the DID family...and this forum is to talk about DID and the people assosiated with it...

i dont see why we all need to jump at each others throats because we talk about this or that...its related to DID because they are part of the family...

I like DID, because the show has a high standard of dance.....to me, higher than other reality shows. I miss remo and terence on the show...because i like them a lot.....this is not to say that the show is not doing well...its doing great....the dances are great ...i still miss their presence...

DID best dancing show yet terence magic z missing.....
the choreography z sooo gud bt not TL level...

^^ So why is Remo being talked about here then?? If you dont like Terence, that's your choice, but that doesnt mean you can dictate whether TL fans should talk about him or not. Let the mods say it, else you will be breaking the forum rule! We dont force anyone to like him, but since the OP talked about CDD, I just responded to it - my choice!

Is remo being talked about in relation to DID or JDJ .Any ways my point was and still is that you can talk about remo,terrence and dharmesh in relation to DID not any other show.Because if its another show it should go in that shows forum.But you are of course free to write anything was just trying to keep the forum clean.Any how if there is any problem with what i am saying mods will tell me

ankit I think u urself put it in ur mind that people watch this show only for TL and Remo...when ppl say they do miss TL and Remo its cos they have been part of the family when it started and their names are easily associated with it...its always good to see Remo, Tl and Geeta on the judges chair...after watching DID doubles I still wudn't trade any three of them for any other judges...I think u urself brought up the trp ratings to prove that DID is not missing TL and Remo...but the ppl who post here want to say that they are missing TL and Remo...whether DId can do well without them or not is a different issue..but these two choreographers alongwith Geeta Maa had a lot to do with how DID has turned out to be...If DID 1 had so so performances I don't think it wud have fared well...their choreographies and input made what DID is today.....its like a brand name now...even if the management changes we still buy that stuff cos of the brand name...unless and until the managements really mess things up...hope u get the point...

If anyone has the patience to read this essay, it talks about the credibility of TAM ratings.. I never bothered to check the ratings all these years of watching DID, SRGMP and all, and only went with what I wanted to watch or felt like watching.. I didnt even looked through the threads about ratings of any shows.. Whether others like the same show or not is not my problem. It's all a personal choice after all. By looking at the comments on Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, and here on IF, I had enough reasons to believe that many Terence fans have started following CDD even though they never watched its first season - I understand them that since I am also in the same shoes now!!

😛 The point here is not about are Terrence fans watching Chak dhoom....I am sure they are watching......the point is about how some people tend to exaggerate the fan following of their favorties......If Terrence fan base is so huge then wouldn't that naturally lift the ratings of Chak Dhoom over the ratings of all Dance shows? Or are we to believe now that the ratings are biased against only Chak Dhoom? 😛 I am a Geeta fan, but if she were to leave the show tomorrow, the ratings would not suffer just like the ratings didn't suffer when Terrence and Remo left.......Most people watch these shows because of the contestants, not to worship a particular mentor blindly......😊
