I didnt even looked through the threads about ratings of any shows.. Whether others like the same show or not is not my problem. It's all a personal choice after all. By looking at the comments on Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, and here on IF, I had enough reasons to believe that many Terence fans have started following CDD even though they never watched its first season - I understand them that since I am also in the same shoes now!!

Anyway, here's the link to the essay: http://www.gotessays.com/essays/3244/index.php

VERY TRUE...I DO WATCH CDD ONLY BCOZ OF TL....NOT ONLY ME THERE R MANY FRENS F ME WHO STARTED WATCHING CDD.....
another thing DID z a fab shw...still TL magic z missing....n CDD the team r n too gud so people may lose interest to that...bt TL z nt trainig them...he z only judging...its a difff show...

Or are we to believe now that the ratings are biased against only Chak Dhoom? 😛 I am a Geeta fan, but if she were to leave the show tomorrow, the ratings would not suffer just like the ratings didn't suffer when Terrence and Remo left.......Most people watch these shows because of the contestants, not to worship a particular mentor blindly......😊

@bold -- you tell me!!! We have been seeing some fanatic fans like that here for D who keeps bringing D into every single thread and post, even if D is on, outside, inside, or behind the show or screen!! Just one person is thus capable of exaggerating his fan following into millions through the non-stop posts!! Looks like his fan base has been outsourced to the US!!! 😆
You still dont get the Math right!! Just because many Terence fans have started watching CDD, that doesnt mean they stopped watching DID-D!! Since the two shows dont conflict with the air time, most of them watch both shows! So how can the ratings of the two be compared? And since most of us continue to watch DID, how will the ratings of DID suffer?? Yes most of us watch the show because of its concept and quality, not to blindly worship a contestant turned mentor!! All I tried to say all the time, and still trying one last time, is that CDD ratings would have improved from its first season, when it was a flop show in season one. DID-D is the 4th season of a hit show, and yet when its ratings drop, that tells a different story!!

Well first to clear the misconception.Ankit didnt make that post for DID 1 or 2 ratings i did.And secondly i did that not to prove that the show doesn't miss terrence and remo.I did that only because i found few members not appreciating that DID doubles is also doing well TRP wise and saying that the ratings have taken a huge beating because of terrence and remo.Members can miss terrence and remo and even say that on this forum.I miss them too.But saying that i miss terrence and remo and saying that the ratings of this show is on a decline because terrence and remo have left are two different things. One is an opinion and other is a fact .No one is trying to change any ones opinion but facts can be corrected. And you are right Terrence, remo and geeta made DID what it is today no doubt in that but Rajeev,Marzi and geeta are maintaining that level so they should be appreciated for that.

Yes TL is not training them, so his work is missing in CDD, but still listening to his comments is worth it. In fact the show seemed to be not very interesting during the audition rounds, but now it's quite interesting to watch, esp that many international teams compete in it and come up with Bollywood numbers - really good! The Belarus team is so good!! The concept is similar to the ABDC show in the US. So it's a contest to find the best team, and that kind of group competition is not there in any other show; it's often solo or duo or a combo of both in other shows...

Well please explain how ratings from 2.68 to 3.87 is a decline in ratings.Dont understand that. And its very good that you still havent left watching the show because it means that dance is more important for you than some mentor.Which is great. And max people havent stopped watching DID because the mentors and dances are excellent this time too like always. But i dont agree that CDD and DID dont have the same air time. For half an hour they do have the same air time in which people prefer to watch DID over CDD.

That's only one week, I was talking about in general.. Compared to the expectations, the ratings didnt match, at least in my view. That's why I said I dont believe those numbers blindly, and the ratings dont matter to me when it comes to the shows I like to watch. Yes, I prefer dance over anything, same way I love music and so keep watching SRGMP regardless of the mentors, and would be doing the same for II show too. I havent watched CDD before and the reason I started watching it is Terence, just to know what kind of show it is. Same reason why I watched Nachle Ve show last year. But then it's my personal choice.
I dont know about the air times in all places. Where I reside, DID shows at 6:00 pm and CDD shows at 8:00 pm, on Fridays and Saturdays. So I assumed it would be like that in most places.. Since I have a DVR, I wuold record one show if there's a conflict, or wait to watch the repeat of the show I missed. I watch shows from my region too, so I have to juggle between them like that anyway...

Well there is not much difference between ratings for DID season 2 and DID doubles. If you have checked my link you would know. But then again you refuse to still believe that these ratings are correct and would rather believe in your own personal view about the ratings .Then there is nothing i can say.To each his own.And in India the airtime for CDD and DID is almost the same only half an hour difference.Maybe that's why CDD has such low ratings as people prefer to watch DID.I am sure if it would have been in a different slot and not competing with DID directly ratings would be much higher.

😃 In case you missed it, DID lil masters where D sir , Jai, Vrushali/Mayuresh, and Amrita were mentors pulled in higher ratings then DID 1 and DID 2 where Remo, Terrence, and Geeta were mentors......That right there speaks volumes about the fact that mentors don't mean much in these shows.....it's all about the contestants.......and as for CDD...You still haven't answered the basic question...........Since CDD is in its second season, and it's so successful like you claim it to be then shouldn't the ratings for CDD match those of DID 2 which was also in its second season? as you can see the average rating for DID 2 was 3.34 for the season whereas CDD rating hasn't even hit a 2 yet and is declining week by week.......And going by your logic if people are watching both DID Doubles and CDD then shouldn't CDD's ratings be comparable to DID Doubles ratings? 😛 But yesss again it's those pesky rating people who are biased against Terrence for some reason....just like the audience who was biased against Terrence and his toli in DID 1 and just like the audience who was biased against Jai's team in DID lil masters.......😛 Yess when someone else other then Terrence fails at their work, it's due to lack of talent but when Terrence or any of his toli members fail at something it's due to the bias world around them........😛 makes perfect sense.........in DID 1 the audience was biased as in DID lil masters, and now the low ratings of CDD are due to the fact that the rating taking people are biased or don't know how to take ratings eventhough they've been doing it for years........😛

I have answered to your post in another thread. The ratings dont matter to me, never mattered either. I never brought the ratings into any topic, but when many posts started revolving around it, I just said my POV. When I said CDD ratings might have improved, I meant it would have improved from its first season, but someone twisted it and made it appear as if it improved against DID.. My point of trying to explain went in vain, like pouring water into upside down pots... LOL...
Probably the conflict time might be a problem in India, as the ratings stat are collected during the first few minutes of each show, as far as I know.. And I think the stat is not collected for other nations where these shows are aired, and I belong to the group of viewers outside India..
