To the question whether it is love or friendship???
Its confusing but the fact that they are too comfortable in each other's skin doesn't comply a friendship tag. Mohan has always considered her to be his wife minus expectations from her end.He took her for granted from the day of marriage but the recent happenings or hints shown in the last few episode does make me think that there is a new found love for Kastur from his end because of the way he perceived her has changed in due time. Physical attraction is something which is always made up. So it takes effort from Mohan's side as he already silenced Kastur by saying a few things.The very last scene with Saroj and Mohan's expression...is bcoz of worry as he realizes that he has to face that in future and the fact that his mother will make it impossible for him is all visible for him. This realization is what makes the difference. The fact he sees a future with Kastur and Saroj being difficult with Kastur would be painful for him. He wants his mother to accept her whole heartedly as he did.
Physical attraction for me is not as important a factor right now. I think Mohan has always found her attractive. Even when MohUr first met, Mohan's reaction at seeing Kastur was a typical male one at seeing a pretty face...he was just mega-confused at her behavior. And I do believe he found her beautiful when he was drunk. The way I see it he will start acting on his feelings in small ways around her appearance...maybe volunteering to fix her jewelry, picking out an outfit, maybe complimenting her...for me, the logical progression of the story would make this inevitable...he will find ways in which he tells her she is attractive to him...
Indeed, I agree with your summary of the last scene. As Lik said, it was a 'telling' scene in more ways than one...
