mohan's insensitivity

recently, i have become addicted to DP and i watched today's episode. i could not believe how insensitive and blunt mohan was when he told kastur he didn't love her etc. during the spin the bottle game, his wife is sitting next to him and he says i've never been in love with anyone in front of a big group - didn't mohan think how embarassed and heartbroken kastur would be? i totally agree with kastur - on their date, was it just me or didn't mohan and kastur share hugs, loving gazes and do all the other romantic things other couples would do? i agree he was drunk but if he didn't love or at least have any feelings for kastur, then why did he do all those things? it's just leading her on. in todays episode, he said he did those things as he wanted to share his happiness with kastur - surely there are many other ways to share happiness? mohan's justification for his marriage with kastur was that he had to do it one day, my family wanted it etc - i can understand the pressure of marriage but mohan should never have entered into a loveless marriage - marriage is built on love and trust. i hope mohan realises that there is more to life than his "love" of work and probably by the time he does, maybe it will be too late and kastur won't be there.

See Mohan is a grey character and he is meant to be that way ... He doesnt know what are the "proper" ways to show affection nor does he want to ... Its his way or the highway ... doesnt mean he is selfish ... just means he hasnt broadened his vision yet to look out to others than him ... When he was playing T&D he was genuinely enjoying it ... and was so lost in the game ... he just said what has always been the truth ... Ofcourse I dont mean he was right in doing so infront of everyone BUT I cant see how he is so wrong either ... He is just being plain honest ... I dont think he thought of it even once later till when Kastur pointed it out ... And then when she questioned he felt its better to not hurt her by justifying this ... She asked him again so he had to tell the truth isnt it? Or then you think he should have lied then?😆
I agree to a certain extent that the switch over they did of Mohan in last 2-3 episodes makes less sense ... But when Mohan said today that he was just sharing his happiness, then I did feel he was just being himself ... He was being friendly and feeling comfortable with Kastur ... Both were enjoying each other's company ... But thats it ... IF Kastur would have also married him without being in love with him, then I dont think she would have had a problem with that isnt it? Since Mohan was talli he was just flowing with all that was happening ... "loving gazes" were just results of being drunk 😆 I dont think he was even realizing what was happening 🤣 Somewhere he IS falling for Kastur ... So when things were just happening he was going with the flow and enjoying it ...

Thats obviously just my opinion according to how much of I have tried to understand Mohan, imagining being in Mohan's place 😆

I'm hurting for Kastur too but there is no easy to tell someone you don't love them and how harsh it sounded it was the truth. Kastur needed this reality and the sad part this is just the beginning wait till she finds why he agree for the marriage in the first place

The hugs and all were while he was drunk ... so am not sure in what light to see those ... if he had done those in hosh it would be totally different thing

But yea feel bad for Kastur ... its unfair to her but in a way am glad he was atleast honest about his feelings rather than deceiving her or giving her the false impression that he loves her

Mohan was intoxicated that night. Never believe put trust in what a guy says or does in an intoxicated state (whatever the cause of intoxication). It may be true. it may end up leading to something real. But that's not enough, nor is it a solid basis or foundation.

i agree with you guys that mohan should have told kastur that he didn't love her - but in such a way (i.e by shouting at kastur)? arranged marriages need to have some compatibility between the partners maybe not love immediately. in essence, mohan is a selfish guy but i hope kastur changes him for the better.

@kavina93 : Mohan did not shout at her today ...nor was he rude 🤔 As I said earlier he was being plain honest ... and thats how plain honest confession is done ... It was just that he was pouring out the truth - just that it wasnt in a compiled way ... Thats how Mohan is ... His thoughts arent compiled or systematic so you find him like a mr. attitude 😆 But I didnt hear Mohan shout or scream at Kastur today 😕

@likarsh : OMG itna long post 😆 will reply in a while if possible or may be tomorrow ...am busy with something and analyzing the badmaash Mohan distracts me 😆
