Written Update:07/09/2011 Baapji VS Mohan

Scene: Hum tum eik kamre mein band ho

The episode starts with Kastur holding Mohan's hand (Kastur is full on chance pe chance marying) as Mohan tries to open the door. Kastur stops him and says don't open the door. If you open the door someone will see us and then bahut badnaami ho jaayegi. (I don't blame her for stopping him after all he is looking so dreamy) Mohan in dilemma; he keeps on looking at the door lock and then to Kastur who is pleading him. Mohan looks like confuse.com. He says that if someone asks tell the truth that you didn't knew I was in the room. Mohan then raises his eyebrows and points to Kastur's hand, which is, at the moment firmly wrapped around his arm. Kastur leaves it and look away shyly. Mohan takes a deep breath and open the lock and walks away in front of Baa.

Baa ask her what's happening in which Kastur gets hyper and tell her she didn't do anything and she didn't know that Mohan was in that room. I swear I don't know anything. Baa interrupts her and say did I say anything? Did I ask what's happening? No nah then why you are getting all nervous? Now go and serve Mohan the undhihuyu (gujrati food) before he goes.

Scene: Gotta go guys

Scenes then focus on everyone having dinner. Mohan gets a call and excuse himself. He picks up the phone and says where the hell are you? I was trying to call you from ages. He says that even I am getting lots of calls from London who gave my India's number to him? He hangs up the call telling hid friend that he is coming. Mohan looks anxious. He tells Saroj that he has to go now as his friend is here from London and it's urgent work. Kastur gets disheartened but Saroj gives him permission to go. Baa tells him to eat something before he goes on that he replies he'll eat next time and leaves. Kastur gets upset and she looks at the dish she made for Mohan sadly. All get sad, as they know Kastur tried very hard and his dad tells her to serve Bhanu and he taste it and compliment her. He says that he can tell you made this with full heart and love, hearing this Kastur gets upset and goes away from there. Her dad covers up saying she got embarrassed.

Scene: am I in trouble?

Mohan meets his friend and ask why was he sounding so tensed? His friend says that the found me number and they asked for yours, Mohan says and you gave it? His friends say I didn't have a choice, you know how dangerous they are and if I didn't tell them they would have called your house and they will get hold of his address next. Mohan is frustrated.

Scene: Kastur Desai bani Kastur Gala

Kastur is cleaning up the mess and is upset. His elder brother feels this and starts to mess around with her with his little brother. He starts telling the younger brother how wrong was Mohan. Kastur stops working. He signal Nattu and he joins in. He says that Mohan left in the middle without thinking about others hard work and feelings. Forget eating he didn't even taste it. Kastur gets angry defence Mohan. She says why are you saying wrong stuff about him? Her lil bro says you want us to take his aarti? lol the elder bro says that even he knows how important is work but I will never leave my family during the dinner. Kastur continues and says that work is work, and there's nothing wrong in doing what you are supposed to do. Lil bro says that we are worried about you and you are not even angry? Kastur says no what's wrong in that? The elder bro says forget it Nattu as she is Kastur Galla now. He says 'humari Kastur Desai ab Kastur Galla ban chuki hai'. Kastur feel happy hearing this. Baa says these brothers and sister are like Sallu Daa movie Hum saath saath hai.

Scene: I need money

Mohan is shown doing push-ups *mein marjaawan* (Harshad in White vest) Sarooj sees him angry and tense something wrong. She questions him. He gets up angrily and gets a towel and dries himself. Saroj takes the towel and pat his face. Mohan tells Saroj he needs money. She tells him your dad has money but why you need it? he tells saroj that he wants to start business of his own and he cannot be satisfied with joining Baapji shop and if they wanted him to do this then why did they send him outside for higher education? . saroj tells him not to worry as his dad will manaofying Baapji and don't get upset. She has tears in her eyes seeing him upset. She goes to get juice for him and Mohan is in guilt.

Scene: Ganpati Pooja

it's morning time in Galla house and everyone is busy preparing for Ganpati puja. Baapji comes in and brings Ganpati in. He looks around for mohan and and questions where mohan is? Everyone is happy because that baapji will allow mohan to be at the puja. Mohan is throwing darts in with irritated gesture. Saroj comes and gives him a red kurta and asks him to wear it for puja. she says if he comes, Baapji might get happy (as if). Mohan gets angry and chucks it away.

Scene: Baapji overhears

The Gallas are doing the Pooja so are the Desai (finally I know their names). Mohan expression whilst the pooja were hilarious. Pooja is finished and Mohan says that I want to talk to you in private. Bhanu after hearing all this refuses to talk to Baapji (I won't say I am surprised, poor gu is always so upset) Mohan says that he needs money for his business and as he don't know anyone he cant ask anyone else for money. Baapji overhear this and says you don't need money for any business.

Scene: Old generation vs new generation

Mohan gets surprised seeing Baapji and Baapji look outrageous in anger. He gives a bashan that he'll give him money but he is not mature (right? Sorry folks couldn't be asked listening his bashan also he got such a strong accent then I couldn't get what he meant) Mohan says that he is not interested in the masala's business. He says that it's not my thing I want to do thing on my own (in englisss) Baapji is like Mohan how very dare you to speak in englisss (obviously in Hindi) he says 'apni matrabhasha mein baat karna seekh ' you are relying on goreys language to speak. (why blaming foreigners?) Mohan is like what the hell what does my language got to do with what I want to do? Try to understand me. Everyone has his or her own ways of thinking just learn how to accept it. He says I have my own point of view, own thinking, own ideas then shy not? Baapji says that everyone in this house (males) has always been involved in masala business. He says that the masala business has been there in the family for many generations and that Mohan has to continue it. He says 'yahi chalta aaya hai yahi chale ga'. Mohan says 'mujhe chalna nahi urna hai'. He says that let it be how it was but I won't get involve. Baapji is now scolding Bhanu saying have you seen the outcomes? I told you not to send him abroad now watch how he will become a stranger. Moham says you know what let it be because you'll never understand me and I'll never understand you. He says in anger I'll say something wrong and you might get offended so leave it. Baapji says no you carry on I want to hear your foreign views. Mohan says why you always drag this in? Bhanu tries to stop him but baapji is like 'ab ise bolne do'. I want to hear what the gorey has done to his sanskar. And oh boy do Mohan gets angry? He was what is your problem? Why are you still living in 1947? Bhanu tries to stop him again but Baapji tells him to stay away. Mohan says see everyone us scared to say anything in front of you. Mohan says that in the 70 years masala business has been going on, the turnover has never been more than 10 crores. baapji goes 'yeh turnover turnover karte karte ek din tera turnover ho jaayega' mohan finally gives up and says angrily 'Fine, I see that you don't want to give me the money I'll manage my self thank you. And angrily walks aways.

Precap: Mohur Wedding on talks

Baapji tells to get the date fixed for Mohur wedding. Saroj is stunned and sad

Ratings: 10/10

It was a good moving with the flow episode. I like the way that this is shaping now. We got to see both views. I wont say Baapji is wrong because he is that kind of guys who wants to keep the traditional in this fast moving generation. Mohan had guts to share his point of view and majority of us agrees with it.

Sorry guys for late update. College started from today so came home late. I want to give credits to Mages as I was late so I extended her live update. Thanks, hope you all like the episode, stay safe till next Wednesday ciao x

This was good episode. I am glad Mohan is standing up against his grandfather. I can't wait to see what lies ahead between these two.

Although it was short, Mohan and Kastur's scenes were cute. I loved how she explaining to Mohan about what he should tell others just in case they wonder why the door was locked. Mohan's expression was funny and cute. He didn't have to say a word because his looked said it all. Kastur's shyness was perfect.

Tomorrow's episode should be interesting. I wonder the rest of the families' reaction is going to be when Baapji announces their engagement.

Even I agree I like the way Mohan stood up against Baapji coz till now no one has stood like this. I really like when mohan said that you won't get what I mean and I wont get what you mean. At least mohan knows how to share and take in views but sadly Baapji doesn't although he did let him speak 😳

MohUr are always cute. As a girl point of view I can understand what she meant. She seems really traditional girl and it's true someone might have though wrong if it wasn't Kastur. But Kastur family knows her really well. 😊

I think except for Saroj majority of then are going to be happy. Starting from his sister she'll be happy as his brother is getting married. Bhabhi will be glad that someone is here so she can do all the chores. And the rest of the family isn't bother 😆

Both Mohan and Baapji are right in their own ways, I definately agree.

Baapji is alot of the times, OTT with principals/traditions without any room for change specially after soo many years he works and thinks like the past, so nothing much has changed but - his company is still standing and making money and putting food on the table for his family.

Mohan was right in all he has said 👍🏼 but he has to PROVE himself to Baapji specially after the way he stood up to him 😳 because at the end of the day its just words, so if he does take the money and use it on starting his own business then great! but 🤔 I think Mohan's standoff with Baapji will be worthless if he only requested that money to pay off the loan sharks thus someways proving Baapji right in some of the stuff he said.

I think the Galla Masala Business is most important to Baapji as its the only source of money they've ever had coming into the house, so only when Mohan enters the family business and makes effective changes to the business to make the company profit, will Baapji realise new business ideas should be taken into consideration and he will understand how much potential Mohan has. At first Mohan will hate it but when he makes changes Baapji will see and so will he Mohan is worth more than Masala and Baapji may even finance Mohan's business.
