Yasmeen Bleeth. I just looked up her fillmography and saw Nash Bridges. I remember that! And yeah I kind of liked her too back when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure I've probably seen a lot more that's listed in the filmography, but just don't remember.😆

I like her as a kid too and I remember at a much younger age my mom used to watch a soap called Ryan's Hope and she was teenager at that time. Yasmeen is very pretty girl, I used to see her on Lifetime movies but don't know what became of her now

Watching Friday's episode of Maryada.

So DJs have two shows.

On one, there's a woman talking about how she's been brought up and taught all these lessons of how a wife should be, and the show and her basically fighting and trying to break that notion. Saying those are not how it should be.

And then there's the other one--where we get lesson after lesson of Dharampatni.

Business is business, i guess.

Lik that lesson is somewhat across the board in all of DJ shows, CB and the one on Sony mostly about family. They're the same but worded differently.

Look at Devyani foolish accuse of why she never left that devil she called a husband especially when the kids were grown up

Yup, I agree for the longest time you just wanted to bang your head on the wall with Devyani. But at least in the end, all that's being shed. At least it was being shown that she shouldn't have tolerated all that, and she herself saying she was wrong in keeping quiet.

That being said, there is a bit of other thing that creeps in too.

But right now--when you watch both, it's just like night and day. Which is a bit unfair, since DP is only a few months old, while Maryada has passed a year. But I don't think DP will ever go away from the Dharampatni lessons.

And worse, it is afraid to do what it originally set out to do in the beginning. I had this exact worry this would be the case, back when we started seeing changes in the channel.

I just hope as you said, in a few years we will see changes in what these PHs and channels view as lucrative. .
