Rani, after my own heart. Two of my absolute favourites. I first watched Umrao Jaan when i was in my early teens I believe. I cried at the ending. The second time around, I appreciated it so much as a film.

The songs... what to say about the songs...

As for Salaam E Ishq, never seen the Muqqadar ka Sikander but that songand Wafa, are two songs I love. I never really knew the meaning of the SeL till about maybe about two- three years back or so. But still it's was so clear that it's poetry at its finest.

Of course Tu maseeehah part was memorable even before I understood. Once I understood...it's just wow. Those verses are some amazing verses.

Great songs and vids to bring over, Rani. Thanks for bringing the gems over. They're always amazing to listen and watch again.
