ufffff....thin line b/w romance and vulgarity...phew...sweety i guess you meant...sensousness and vulgarity....coz romance stands for love and sweety love can never be vulgar nor can one make it look or feel like one nor the one being shown b/w vs is...platonic love to has a certain amount of attraction to vouch for it.... when the title itself given to the content is so so inappropriate i find no point in holding a discussion..

well 1st of all, great topic Megha! it made us think, and thats really good, 😳 i found this post really interesting.

Well, every one, has got different opinions, points of view, moral values, we are just different, plz i request you to not mind at sum comments rebbuting urs.
I think, this serial was created for RM jodi fans, bcz of them, after it many others actors/actresses entered, and they also made their own fans.. but the main reason was them both, right? if yes, then romantic scenes were just obvious and expected, almost all of us knew that Mughda will be paired wid Rajat, and as this serial has more freedom of script and scenes, they wud rock more than in PRC, better said, there will be many more romantic scenes than in PRC.
Seeing so much touch, physical contact might becum monotonous and excessive, i agree in that there are many scenes wich are really unnecessary, like the falling ones, 😕, but still we cant considere them as "touching" bcz it has others meanings..
Still, those excessive in number scenes wont create anything bad in teens mind, i dont think that any girl wud fall purposely infront of someone expecting that he catches him.
Talking about unnecessary scenes, i must also include when veer was unsconscious, and shera didnt leave a single second widout carressing him.. my god!.. that was too much, but it wasnt shameful at all.. 😕
About feeling wierd, watching this show wid parents.. i think sumtimes yes, we can feel a bit embarrassed, but not always, and it depends aswell on the confident u have wid ur mom or dad. But they wont find it vulgar, bcz vulgar is called to other things, wich we unfortunately get to see just in public places.. But also in TV, on Net, and many other sites..
well Megha, DV is not PRC.. Veer and Shera are a hot couple indeed.. a daku-prince relationship can light many passions.. and they show us in such ways:
like, embarrasement after incidents wich implicates just a hand on shoulder, blushes, eye contact, smiles, hands holding...
vulgar word is too much dear.. but thanks for opening this topic 😊 really liked it..

I dont agree with u wholly Megha...Though i think you are Right but the word 'vulgarity' cannot be used and shouldn't be used in this case.

Yups the 'touching' scenes are more dan Prc....bt its fyn, coz ol RM fans want the pair to b wid each other and dun wanna offend my fav onscreen pair when they are perfectly comfortable wid all dis !

....as the saying goes....Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder...
@bhuvana3 ----"I did not find anything distasteful or vulgar abt any DV episode.. we tend to interpret it as we look at it."
@angel.4u -----"
yes I think its all a matter of one's own perception! Depends on what you R looking for! I found nothing wrong in any scenes of VS ! In fact It seemed to B very sweet and nice to me & I always watch this show with my family - in fact three genr watch it together & no1 found anything even remotely objectionable! Vulgarity is a very Strong word that has been used !!!"

its really a nice post.i m a silent visitor but u made me write.
my opinion is that, first of all-VULGARITY is a very very wrong word 4 dv.vulgarity is something else.i am bored with d so many falling scenes of veer n shera.the sagars didnt show us some good scenes which could tell us veer loves shera.when veer n shera were together one of them fell n other helped........n then eye contact.........it looks excessive n even disgusting when i think of rajat's age.how can they show a boy of 15 in such scenes?they r not vulgar.but when u r watching this with ur parents, its embarassing.
i wanted some good scenes which can potray their love.d same what we saw between surya-nandini n prc-sanyo.there were falling scenes but there was some reason.n now in dv it seems shera is born 2 fall down n veer 2 hold him.
n d bonfire scene,it wasnt vulgar too.veer was in pain n shera was supporting her.they were not enjoying.there was a situation n they had 2 stay together n shera hugged veer which came from her desire 2 calm him down.
thanx megha again,4 this great post.

thanks nandu for pictures...nahhh these touches are not vulgar...u cant even call it a hug..in the last four pictures there is a caring touch between the two.....just caring touch...no romantic xpressions are there in their eyes ...they both are concern about each other thats it...there is a cuteness and purity in their action they neither are giving any vulgar xpression nor doing any vulgar actions.
