Megha...I don't know what to say!! Its of course your opinion and I can see that nuff been said abt the stone aged romance. I would rather look at this century and to me vulgarity at this age means soooooo much more that it is even impossible to compare it with romance. I don't think its ok to look at physical contacts as just 'touch' - it can carry so much more meaning when you look at the moments before and after that touch. Was it accidental or incidental? or was it portrayed as intentional? and after that 'touch', was there a loving apology in their eyes or desire to take this further??? I don't think Veer or Shera, in their acts portrayed anything that would encourage any teens to extremism of romance or vulgarity. In fact teens should appreciate that how much an eye contact can say much more than words or any physical moves. Just my opinion 😊 No hard feelings!!

Rajat and Mughda are Friends they've worked with each other before and Im sure that their minds arent in the gutter when they act a romantic scene together😳
As for calling their scenes vulgar well....
Vulgar would have been inappropriate touching, kissing, and pretty much acting in a way that was completely disgusting and shameless.

There is nothing like that in any of their scenes together
In fact the affection shown between them in their scenes is more than some teenage crush/puppy love its actually quite mature and I think the love is shown more in the non physical aspects of the scenes like the eye contact and the smiles.

Rajat and Mughda are close friends who have worked together before and its this affecton that comes across on screen.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion.
And DharamVeer is nothing like Dill Mill Gaye.
Rajat has never acted a scene the way Karan does.

Itz hard to believe that someone who pulled off romantic scenes cutely and innocently... without making the viewers feel awkward in anyway as Sanyogita in Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan was unable to do so in DharamVeer' Shera was introduced as a daku in the show but looking at the amount of fragility that has cropped up in the character (particularly in the way she walks) i wonder what the makers are trying to show. The number of touching scenes they are showing between Veer and Shera clearly reflects the way makers perceive romance. For them romance is only physical.. and they make sure that they show physical proximity b/w V-S at all possible places' sometimes even creating situations for it.. like making Shera fall again and again.. and Veer supporting her. And then they claim DharamVeer's target audience to be teens and kids.

Undoubtedly very WISE ANALYSIS it is.

What the makers don't realize is that they are validating such objectionable stuff among teens and are in a way encouraging such behaviour. What do the makers want the viewers to interpret out of the 'bonfire scene' between V-S? Do they want us to term such physical closeness among teens as correct? Didn't the on-screen ages of Veer and Shera (between 15 and 17) come to their mind even once while shooting that sequence? Or worse, they preferred to ignore it.. or worst, they preferred to cash in on it.. aajkal yahi bikta hai? TRPs and popularity at the cost of corrupting young and impressionable minds!! 👎🏼

THANK GOD there r still some ppl who think like that n still have capabilty to see behind the storyline.Cant say wt makers exactly want to depict through such scenes but yes it s true they seem simply shutting eyes n minds both while developing the story.

No matter how open and broadminded our society becomes there is a limit to what teens should know and what they should see. This is important for their physical and mental well being as well as healthy psychological development. The makers are forgetting that they have a history of making good mythological and historical shows and so have an implied social responsibility to show stuff that is not objectionable. Once in a while a romantic scene, if shown in a healthy manner, is refreshing.. but frequent touching and such closeness among teens is definitely not healthy.

VERY TRUE ,here vulgarity line is being touched even sometimes crossed!

And if their inspiration is drawn from shows like Dil Mil Gaye and Kayamath then I must remind them that in these shows actors as well as characters are 'adults'. In DV, the lead actor (Rajat) is a minor and the characters Veer and Shera are minors too.

It was such an embarrassment for me to be seeing that scene (jo kuch zyada hi ho gayaa tha) along with my mom. I myself, don't think high of such a scene' and if makers keep showing such stuff.. then they would truly be insensitive'

PS: I sincerely request the makers not to show such seemingly 'cute' bonfire scenes or the like anymore and even reduce the number of touching scenes between Veer and Shera.

Me Too of same opnion n thanks u brought this grave matter under the notice of all DV fans!

p.s : i respect ur opinion and i hope that u will respect mine

Yup.totally agree with you. I too dnt agree with u Megha.heres no vulgarity in any sense. In this MTV Generation, we can't expect tht teens r not mature and they dnt know abt these things.Aur phir DV mei oh kuchchh bhi zyada nahi dikhaya.Infact beauty lies int he eyes of beholder.so i agree tht a person with good menatily and 'sanskas' cant ever go wrog and he'll see respect and true love in veer and Shera's eyes for each other, not vulgarity.!👎🏼
