thanks a lot shifu for the post but i am kind of confused here, if we say we hate sia in a particular epi how is it bashing the actress, if we dont find any chem in a particular dharam sia scene why cant we write abt it, its nothing to do personally with the actors but there chara in the serial, we cant all just go around saying sia is the best even if she acts like i dont know what and ds look very nice as a couple even if they dont click, and its not only for ds couple, how many posts have been opened requesting for a new girl opp veer, a new rajkumari, so this is not anything against mc only that we wld like to see someone new opp veer, but when a good vs scene comes we praise it too, so when ds will give a good scene we will praise them too, but u cant expect us to praise them even when we are not enjoying it just coz it hurts the sentiments of some members. yes criticizing the actor and actress is against i-f rules i agree but i dont think anyone even knows the actress real name, and i hv never seen anywhere anyone saying anything against vm, every one likes or dislikes dharam in a particular scene. when dharam was very considerate towards veer we all made many posts praising him but in one scene he agrees with sia and its not liked by us, but we shd keep quite and not say anything why, u cant just praise a serial u can criticize it, we praise it when we like it but u can criticise it when u dont like something

and i really didnt like everyone bashing thornwood on her updates, in her updates the remarks she has made are against dharam and sia the character not the actors themselves so why everyone is against her if u cant remark on the chara also then whats the use of posting any posts just go around telling wowow what a serial, dharam is good, veer is good, saakshi is good, sia is good, shera is good, i am good, ur good, the whole world is good

kiran, i had to get her update into this.. cos giving personal opinion abt a character in the updates is against the rules of IF................ it was the rules given to coolbies.... she can give opinions in the discussion threads.. but not in updates.... it is said, v can write some funny comments abt the situations... but v r not allowed to give personal comments about the character, cos this update is used by everyone to know what happened in the episode.....n not to know what she felt about the episode...

n abt giving opinion about a character, i agree, u can give ur opinion.. but it should be given in the thread which discuss abt that situation.. i had to complain, cos every thread that discusses anything about the episode, even if it is not related to dharam-sia... they r dragged into it n ridiculed.

also, if there is one scene, where the negative trait of the character is shown, 5-6 threads r opened with differnet names, but they just bash the character. u gave the example of v asking for another girl opposite veer, but how many threads were opened for that.....just one... n everyone talked abt htat only in that thread...their chemistry stuff was not dragged to other threads.. so whoever didn't like that discussion, they only had to avoid that thread.. rest of the threads were free to discuss... however that was not the case of dharam-sia... every thread, ridicules them..... n any scene between them is taken to make a topic.. just to say, they don't look good... the situation came to such an extent that, v were scared to open anythread.... cos it might contain nasty comments of dharam-sia.

Just wanted to confirm on a couple of points before I inadvertently break any of them..

1> Is it wrong to speak against it if the "character" is behaving in an inconsistent manner or as if they suffer from Multiple personality disorder ? For instance is it against rules to say "Veer is being unreasonably rude to Shera" without taking the names of RT or MC ?

2> I love aishas updates and I dont think she was too harsh on anyone and I certainly dont remember her ever bashing the 'actors'.

3> I agree that posts wishing a particular character or bashing personal appearances is not in good taste but if I certainly would not say that siya is childishly sweet when she is actually being unkind and wicked. We had posts cricitising Veer when he was rude to Shera so why is it wrong to criciticize siya when she is being 100 times worse ?

@ Kiran: There is nothing wrong with you saying you dont like the new Sia, but when you say "I dont like the new Sia bcs she isn't pretty, she is that, she is this" than it all faces on the actor not Sia. It is the actor's beauty that we see in the face of Sia...

The DS one, that is fine aswell, but just to say, dont be like "DS don't make a nice couple, Dharam looks younger than the new Rajkumari" etc that is not allowed. It is Vikkz and the actress tht u are pointing towards.

I know what you are trying to say about DS and VS. There is nothing wrong in that, but when it comes to making personal remarks on actors, that if you start comparing VS -DS and say "DS don't look better than VS bcs they are that, they are this" which is not allowed but at the same time hurts the sentiments of fans.

No hun, you don't understand, by not knowing the actress's real name, doesnt mean bashing stops, I know you are pointing towards the character Sia, but there are certain remarks that members make which indirectly bashes the actress making all DS fans upset.

No, that is allowed, you can comment on Veer and Shera that way.
No, there are some parts of the updates, be it intentionally or not, actors do seem to get bashed.
That is allowed, it is only when you don't go as far as commenting on the actress/Sia's physically aspects.

😆😆thats a bug in IF............only moderators r supposed to get that option, so that they can delete any posts.. however now every member r getting it... hopefullly the bug is fixed soon
