No I am from bengal n Maa is not worshiped here in her Bagalamukhi roop widely .. we worship Maa as Maa Durga n Maa Kali .. n she is worshiped here over any other God .. n about the control thing I am not sure but everytime maa took Kali roop she needed to calm down by Mahadev .. the power used to overtook her ..
