Ever since the creatives decided to bring in the Ramayan plot, ratings took a dip.

This week's ratings, Shapath has beaten Mahadev and has become the number one show on the channel.
This dip in TVTs has alarmed the creative team of Mahadev.

Now, it has been decided that the Ramayan track will be wrapped up at a galloping space and the story will re focus on Mahadev and his histrionics.

Nikhil Sinha says, TVTs do keep falling and rising and that there is a fall in TVT's but cannot say for sure if its just because of Ramayan. The Ramayan track will continue as planned till mid- October and they are rectifying it by introducing interesting tracks on Mahadev running parallel to the Ramayan track to keep audience hooked on to the show if at all number dip is due to Ramayan.

The Ramayan Track on this show based on fiction so of course it was going to create a dip rating. Also next week Mahabharat will shown that is where the audience will go. When Devon ke dev starting creating there own religion that when people started to exit the show. I think the show has climaxed. i believe is it on the way out by late December or by late Feb 2014.

Better end the show gracefully after completing 2 years if the TRP does not raise in the coming weeks.
If it manages to hold up than the show has reasons to pull on because all this while this show was the TRP winner of the channel.
The mid phase of last year to the beginning months of this year was outstanding and wonder if that past glory can be got back.
Sometimes miracles do happen lets wait and watch. Good luck for this ME. 😃

Life OK will never ready to close this show. This show is still no. 01 in daily shows.

And many stories are being remained to show now.

yes, we can hope for miracles.This week TRP is 1.2 average...where all other shows are in 0.4 To 0.9 only.

Hmmm true Manan in LIfeOK from all their daily soaps Mahadev is still the number one show...So they still have reasons to pull it on unless one of their daily soaps beat this in TRP.

They should show the establishment of the Rameshwaran Jyotirlinga, which is important, but the rest of the Ramayan can be shown as a narration. In fact, it could have been in the form of Parvati telling a story to Andhak 😆

But honestly speaking, having gotten rid of Sona, I don't see them recovering, even by showing proper Mahadev stories: as it is, they have ruined things by showing moronic depictions of Mahishashur, Durgam, Shumbha and Tripura stories.

Replacement was a big blunder by the CV's and Kalyani u are right the replacement came as a rude shock to non internet viewers who had no clue about this change to happen specially in the heartlands.
The storyline was going Topsy turvy for a long time even during Sonarika era it was most frustrating be it the portrayal of all deities besides Shiv or the storyline.
But the current scenario I think took it too far. They took huge risk which has not payed off. For us the main reason for watching the show despite the weird storyline where the actors with one less now that much attraction is reduced. So also the reason for this downfall is what I feel.
Maha epi kuch maha dhamaka kar dikhaye..DKDM's repute is pretty bad there too. 😕..It is all hype no content..

The Ramayan track was boring for me and I was only watching it to see Mohit. The CV's made a mistake and am glad that they plan to wrap it soon. I only want to watch Mahadev centric stories and nothing else.
