@Reeti, the reason that Prem is asking for subtitles is because Hindi is not everyone's first language or even their language. There are some who are brought up in different countries other than India and may know basic Hindi, but will not know the pure Hindi used in the show. Then there are others who are not of even Indian origin and Hindi is not even their language. They have either learnt Hindi by watching TV shows/Hindi movies or just rely on subtitles to understand the serial.

In the past, sometimes a forum member or other had even provided translations of some sholaks in other forums for that purpose as it would be difficult to google that unless you understand what to type.

Minakshi, thanks. After watching the first episode, I ended up watching 3 more in just two settings. I have not watched episode 5 yet as I could not find it on youtube. Mouni and Mohit are so good even in those first four episodes. Loved how they showed that meeting between Shiv and Sati after Narad's planning. Very nice episodes.

The BG score, Karupr Gauram... mesmarising 1st epi. were main factors for pulling most of the viewers along with the way this story was told.

Minakshi, that is true. I have heard all these sholaks from my mother since childhood. But listening to them in the melodious voice with that beautiful music and BG score was something else. I started watching Mahadev on and off from summer 2012 onwards. But the quality of first episodes is very different from the ones shown later on. The script is tight, the execution is great and the whole grandeur look is different. I was comparing how Sita has been given just one costume so far. But even in the first four episodes, Sati was given so many costumes in just a short time justifying her as a pampered favorite princess of an arrogant, egoistic influential king.

The first epi!❤️ It's still afresh in my mind...had loved it to the core!

Once you watch the first epi , you'll get hooked up to it. It's gonna be impossible to stop watching the show❤️

Undoubtedly the Sati era ws totally a different thing...

nothing can be compared to it...

one could relate to it...feel what Sati ws going thru...

understand her feelings...her love...her emotions...her agony...

Shiva's helplessness...his pain...hz suffering...

I bet! u guyz wl LOVE it!!!

u'll totally fall in love wid these epis...

most of the time it happens that when u watch an epi again n again...u don't feel those emotions...

BUT no!

e1 now when i watch these epis...i cn feel those emotions...

I laugh when Sati laughs...i cry when they both cry...i gt frustrated seeing Prajapati's constant nagging...

I LOVE THEM!!

so muchh that i spend my day dreaming bout them...
