Mein aa gai😛
And again super duper late...
I actually forgot that I now update on Thursdays😕😆

Anyways...so we have role reversal...Since Vishnuji is a bit held up...and cane be the naming bua, it seems the Mahadev has taken up the job...What a team Work👏

A short update because frankly I couldnot make a head or tail of the whole episode...

Mahadev and Parvati wish all the best to Laxmiji for her human avatar and assure them of their all time support and co-operation...
Mahadev is worried about the blind and posessive love that Dashrath is developing for his son...Dashrath is shown to be worrying about Ram who is playing outside and we see he denies Guru Vashishtha the need of Ram going to Gurukool, he says that there is no need since they have an in-house teacher...

Janak and Sunaina are all set on tilling the land along with his people...and he finds Seetaji cocooned in a basket under the earth...Shivji comes and gives big gyaan on a girl and her benefits
(They should record this and use it in the "Beti Badhao" abhiyaan!)
Naradji comes in and ofcourse we know na...he praises Janak ki Jahnvi and then our Shivji says na na...this girl is of my rashi😛 So she must be named Sita😳

Ravan is having a weird conversation with headless Rahu and bodyless Ketu (or vice versa) who accept his leadership...while other devatas are resisting...so he puts them in jail ..
.(Ravan turns Kansa😛)
Parvatiji is asking Mahadev why is he not stopping Ravana
(Oho,,,if Mahadev will stop him, then What will Ramji do on the earth😕 Dont tell me DKDM plans for Mahadev to shoot the last arrow that killed Ravanaa...😆 Or worse..come in the disguise of Vibhishana and guiding Ram to shoot it😛)
Precap: Ravana fighting two gurus, Shukracharya and Brihaspatiji...(I am wondering if they will show Ravana kill both of them and then since we will have only five days a week, Mahadev will intervene and restore their lives..thus giving us a full 7 days week😛)

The show no longer (for me) stays worth watching for the history.. now its just one another myth show with fiction as the main ingredient.

Thanks for the WU

Dasharath denies Guru Vaishistha permission to take Rama to Gurukul? Whatever! 🤪

Ravan imprisons the Devas? Now, in the real story, he defeated Indra and was on his world conquest. But here, since our devraj is Nahusha, and Indra is nowhere in sight, shouldn't Parvati urge Shiva to intervene on her SIL's behalf? I mean, which Sasur or Saasuma would simply watch their damaat's kingdom come unravelled, and their damaat and putri running from pillar to post? After all, Ravan could go after Asokasundari, and given his past obsession w/ Mahadev's family, he may want to keep her in the Asoka gardens.

Also, wasn't Sukhracharya the Guru of Indrajit, or was that just in the Sagar serials?

Good point Vrish- Actually what is Indra's status now?

In the original Ramayana when Dasharata fights on behalf of the Devas (with Kaikeyi as the charioteer) wasn't it Indra who was the king of Devas?

ANd by now shouldn't Nahusha have started his serpentine life on Earth?

Yes, that's what Dkdm should do. Ravan should kidnap AS. Then Parvati will urge Mahadev to go and rescue her. Mahadev will reach Lanka. Ravan will ask Mahadev to reside in Lanka for ever - since that's what he has been trying from Day One.

Are the timelines of when Nahusha became a serpant known? I thought that it was all in the Dwapar Yuga. As a result, Asokasundari's marriage to Nahusha would have happened either then, or in the Treta Yuga, much after the marriages of Kartikeya & Ganesh. Unlike what they are showing here.

If one counts the number of generations from the Pandavas back to Nahusha, then he would have ruled his kingdom on earth (the ancient equivalent of Prayag) during the Dwapar Yuga only, and after the Devas invited him, Yayati would have taken over. Then Nahusha would have stalked Sachi and all in the Dwapar Yuga only. So even his marriage to Asokasundari would have happened in the Dwapar Yuga.

In the original Ramayan, Dasharath fought Shambarasura on behalf of Indra, w/ Kaikeyi as his charioteer. But this was early in their marriage. Also, it was Indra who defeated Ravan, was defeated by Indrajit and so on.

So when Rama fights his final battle w/ Ravan, will Nahusha lend him his chariot? Maybe he will - and they could have Mahadev ask him to do it, so that the credit for that one can go to Mahadev as well 😆

Jai Shri Mahadev!!!! Har, har, Rama!!!

OK understood. So showing Nahush as the king of Devas is totally out of the time frame and Indra should still have been shown as the king.

Now that would be the icing on the cake.

True, but Nahusha did become the ruler of the Devas after Indra killed Vritra, and went into self-exile to atone for the killing of Trisiras (and according to some accounts, Vritra as well). So that part they showed correctly. Of course, when Indra killed Vritra is not exactly known, and it might have been early, since every other demon was careful to ask for immunity from Indra in boons to either Brahma or Mahadev
