Only if Ravan had known she in her human birth will be the main reason for his death. I guess the Nav Grahas may not show him this to take revenge on Ravan. 😆

how can Ravan abduct Mahalakshmi in her divine form?😆

Unlike Parvati/Durga, I don't know that Lakshmi or Saraswati had the sort of power that would enable them to defeat Ravan if an attempt was made on them. And in Ravan's case, he was immune to all the gods & goddesses, so even then, they may have been powerless. Although, like Vedavati, she may have been able to slip away or escape from him easily. Vedavati self immolated, but Lakshmi probably would have just disappeared from the spot

How can you say that!😆😆😆
Maa Kaushiki is another form of Saraswati and Mahalakshmi has eight forms, of which four are related to conquest - Adi Lakshmi, Dhairya Lakshmi, Veera Lakshmi, Vijaya Lakshmi. With so many Lakshmi's at her command, it would be a snap of the fingers for her to get rid of Ravan. Maybe the other possibility. Ravan doesn't KNOW that his slayer is born - he thinks that Kausalya is dead. Also, he doesn't know that his slayer is avatar of Vishnu!😆

I am not google mata, I depend on books. Yes at times goole is helpful but even there stories are not always genuine & many sites copy pastes the same matter posted by 1 site. So it's always safer to have a book's version to be called Puranic version for me. This question was meant for Vrish & others who had discussed Ramayan during their Imagine days.😆

These stories of divine announcements remind me of an incident from my own life.
A few years back, a close relative of mine introduced me to his guru ji. That guru ji was very famous in that locality and people believed that he always made correct prediction. I had no interest in asking him to predict anything for me but I met him just to honour my relative. He read my palm and also read something on my forehead and then said that I would not survive more than 2 years.

After talking with him for some time, I came back to my house. Later he sent message through some people that my life could still be saved. He suggested some kinds of puja, havan etc. But I did none of those. I continued my life as if nothing happened. And I am still alive. He predicted that I would be dead in 2 years and it has been more than 5 years since he made that prediction.

^^^ In Valmiki, you are right - there were no leelas. For instance, Ahilya was paralysed, not turned into a stone, and Rama's touch unfroze her. There were no Lakshman rekhas, or instances of Rama's touch healing Sugreev after his first battle w/ Vali, and so on.

And that was for a reason. Ravan's boon only allowed him to be killed by a human. Had Rama had the same powers as Krishna did, he'd have been almost indistinguishable from Vishnu, and Brahma's boon did cover Vishnu - Ravan couldn't be killed by VIshnu in his original form, or else, he would have been. That's why Rama was born w/ no knowledge of his divinity, acquired all the knowledge in Balkand and the first 12 years of his exile from various rishis, and finally fought Ravan armed w/ all of that.

The stories that have him doing all sorts of leelas totally miss that point.

All the leelas were inventions of Vyasa/disciples and later authors.

So already people are wondering why we showed Kausalya getting a Vishwaroop Darshan when the famous scene is of Krishnleela with Yashoda.

Personally, it was an honour writing that scene. I had tears in my eyes.
Here... Let me clear all doubts 😃

You'll be surprised to know that this event is actually from Raam Charit Maanas.
Not even the lesser known versions of Krittivas or Aananda Raamayan (where I too the Raavan's attempt of Kausalya elimination from) 😃

Truly, this scene has been shown in such a nice way!!!! enjoyed a lot!! ⭐️ ⭐️

And Thanks to Utkarshji for the Ramcharitmanas Refenece 😊
