Each actor has different talent.
Mouni also is an excellent actor and so is Sonarika.
And both shared a rocking chemistry with mohit.

I don't think it is fair to compare both actors at all. Mouni was very good with Mohit and I miss their precense on the screen to date and feel very happy when she is shown in flashbacks she had a sizzling chemistry with Mohit .Sona is good as well but it is more of a laidback style with her. It is more on the divine side but I still miss Mouni a lot.

Truth be told I loved Mouni very much but when Sona stepped in She was Parvati for me.
I never compared them but the whole universe did and Sona was badly treated on many forums.
I cannot visualize Mouni as Parvati just like I cannot visualize Sonarika as Sati.
For me I loved Sat/Shiv chemistry but I was equally mesmerized by Shiv/Parvati and to be honest I too have never missed Mouni after Sonarika stepped in.
There is nothing bashful said in any of the statements above just like a person came and talked about Mouni others have come and expressed their love for Sonarika.
In a thread everybody will post their opinion. If I say I am not missing Mouni post Sonarika's entry can that be called bashing.

don't know everytime when someone post on Mouni n say that they miss her everyone came n start to compare Sona with Mouni...you can't compare both time..even the topicmaker said that it's completely her POV..that she like Mouni more..n I agree with that...both era is different...in Sati era it was about Shiv-Shakti's lovestory...it's about their romance n how they get married..but in Parvati era it's all about God story n all...both time are different n with that Mahadev also changed..in Sati time he was just a lover beside God...n it's about how he became a husband...but in Parvati era Mahadev also changed into a good husband n father...a very responsible person...so you can't compare them..both r awesome in their own character..

I think both did a good job with their own character, but I feel that Sonarika has more modesty and divinity in her face. Mouni and Mohit may have been more "sizzling" as you said, but their romance scenes lacked divinity. Some of the romantic scenes were downright filmy like we'd see in today's youth-based shows. It didn't quite fit the mythological build. 🤔 Mohit and Sonarika on the other hand actually look like Shiv-Shakti. I find their chemistry very divine and natural.

I think Mouni was good as Sati, but I don't think she'd have been good as Parvathi. She does not have that motherly countenance and affection which Sonarika has as Jagdamba. I love Sonarika's scenes with Sadhil. She is a natural at being an onscreen mother!

No offence intended but Janaki, you yourself said that you didn't even watch the show, at least not regularly. There was plenty of devotional scenes between Shiv and Sati:

The first time Sati sees Shiv
Mahadev playing the veena and Sati dancing
Both Shiv and Sati dancing at Vasantutsov
When Shiv and Sati talk after Shivratri
When Shiv protects Sati in the shamshaan
Shiv as Jataa trying to help Sati
Their wedding!!
Adishakti scene
And quite a few more!

The point is just because you're not a fan of Mouni doesn't mean that their "romance scenes lacked divinity". Rightly said I'm not, nor will ever be a Sonarika fan, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what she's done for this show and what the show has done for her by developing her into a real actress.
Mouni was never given a chance to interact with kids on the show, so its totally null and void saying things like she's not motherly and doesn't have affection. How can you tell if you haven't seen her interact with kids? Incidently she's amazing with children which I can honestly say after having seen her onscreen and offscreen with children.
Parvati for me has to have that command in her voice and mannerisms that (as far as I could see) Sonarika didn't have. Imo her chemistry with Mohit was pretty wooden, but again only my opinion, I'm not stating these things as facts like others here.
Let's hope Pooja does a good job as Parvati now and stop all these comparisons!

Why can't they call Mouni to back as Parvati?????😆

And after all Junoon is going to end in September because of very low TRPs 0.3 or 0.4😲

It is already under scanner.
