Watching the Maha episode and today's episode made me cry for Jalandar. I felt that all he wanted was love. I don't know about anyone else but I could see a small child throwing tantrums and breaking his mother's favorite plates just to gain a little attention from his mother 😭

His questions today made this belief even stronger for me. He was asking why did Mahadev not take care of him as a father.. and I felt tears in my eyes

All my anger at J's arrogance just disappeared as I could see his pain

What do you all think.

I guess if they've made J ask these questions, there must be a good answer coming tomm from Shivji.
This entire thing can be seen as every soul takes birth under the effect of Maya. Then the cycle of birth & rebirth starts. Till the soul decides to know his/ her true identity & makes the effort of being Shiva, that's realising the Supreme Consciousness & being one with it, also known as the journey of soul from being Jeeva to Shiva, resulting in merging with the Supreme Consciousness, in the end or even during one's life time, depending on the Karmas. This concept is explained well in the Shiv-Sutras.

I felt very bad for Jalandhar. I agree with each and every question he asked to Mahadev in the episode and the precap.

It was totally valid and justified on his part to ask.

He forever yearned for a sense of identity and belonging. Earlier he attached himself to his adoptive mother and felt satisfied. When he lost her, he got attached with his guru. But a guru that too like Shukracharya was distant and could never take place of a parent. He only shaped him into a tool against Indra. He never gave emotional guidance to him!

I liked seeing how he bared his soul before dying. He was just hiding his vulnerabilities and emptiness behind the veneer of ego over conquests and all that anger.

Even later when he got someone to call his own, he lost her forever and in this cruel manner.

Was he born only for a purpose? That is, temporary trouble for Indra as punishment? Kaam khatam, banda khatam?

He is right. Even when he was introduced to Mahadev it was all done like some warning or taunt. There was no affection or apnapan in it!

Paida hua toh aaye nahi. Ab maarne ke liye aa gaye! Marg darshan kiya nahi ab dharm-adharm batane aa gaye!

Is it fair?

Mahadev can satisfy Jalandhar with his philo answers or claim he felt Jalandhar's pain. But I don't buy this explanation.

All Jalandhar got through his life was loathing, provocation, mockery, taunts, loneliness!

And even when he did learn he was Mahadev's ansh what was right? He'd be openly told by others that they were not supporting, feeding or saluting him but only Mahadev's ansh in him! As if he himself has no identity! And the person whose ansh he was never adopted him! Bata ke chale gaye mere ansh ho! Apna bhi lete?

As a kid if he had proper guidance from Mahadev himself, than no way he'd have turned out to be what he did!
Jalandhar's death seemed as if Mahadev was making up for a mistake he had made (mistake being Jalandhar!).

P.S. - Post is based on the show only. No insult intended to deities and no offense to religious and sensitive users. Sorry in advance.

What is an illegitimate child and his fate?! Is he like an excretion? To be left out to rot and decompose, get lost by itself? And perhaps flush it away if its "stink" gets unbearable?!!!
