Today we have seen how parvati realised herself by Ashatang yog. That is actually an experience of her Kundalini shakti. Many of the Spitritual gurus by various methods tries to make their disciples feel this energy. In one of them famous one is ART OF LIVING's Sudarshan kriya and many of Gurus does Shaktipat. The scenario is very different, amazing sometimes weird during these sessions. Just like parvati some people start crying, laughing continuously, vibrating , running, screaming etc. MAHADEV has explained very clearly about YOGDARSHAN and many sadhnas very clearly during Sati time and parvati's first encounter with mahadev.

Just to clarify, AOL's Sudarshan kriya does not involve raising the Kundalini.

What was shown today is Paravti's Aagya chakra getting activated today. In Shambhavi Mahamudra, one oncentrates on the place between 2 eyebrows. Which makes the 3rd eye active, enabling one to see past, present & future. That's why she could see glimps of herself in past. She was asked to look within herself, so her true self slowly started disclosing. Being in that state she could see the events but to connect them well, her 7th chakra, Sahastrara, needs to be awakened, along with all the chakras. Then the flow of Energy, Kundalini rising from her back, spinal chord will reach in Sahastarar, will meet Shiv in Brhmarandhra & unite. That is Shiv- Shakti union in the body. That will make her capable of holding on to her Aadi Shakti's powers.
