My Mother has been my inspiration,and the force behind my creativity- Utkarsh Naithani

The Mahadev Family is easily the best team I have worked with.

1^st of all Aniruddh ji, who is the whole and sole creator and guiding force of the show' From him, I've learnt so much and continue to do so. Hiten Ganatra (Project Head) who brought me into the team and is the one-man solution to all the possible problems.

Nitin and Animesh; you'd be surprised to know how many ideas on the show are theirs.

Bodhisattv ji, the man I call every time I have any Pauranic confusions or concerns.

And last but not the least, Subrat Sinha, the amazing dialogue writer who gives soul to every scene I write.

There are many more, but these are the six awesome people that I deal with regularly and who help me write better.

Thank you. I'm glad you appreciate my perspective. Yes, I come from an upbringing of "Yatr Naaryastu Poojyante, Ramante Tatr Devta"

(Where women are worshipped, Divinity dwells there.)

I sincerely believe in this' and considering the current times, I hope more people understand this.

It's not just a woman as a body, but the feminine force, The Shakti, that has inspired me and continues to do so.

In my own life, my Mother has been my inspiration, and the force behind my creativity.

My sisters have set an example on how Shakti can move society'

And' Hmmm' ok I'll share a secret. There is another woman who inspires me, but I haven't met her yet. I don't know what her name is and what she looks like' but I know that she'll be the one I will fall in love with.

I often write thinking what would 'She' do'

OK, enough secret sharing for now J

Writing Mahadev is Very different from how it was while writing my previous shows' Diya aur Baati Hum' and Saraswatichandra.

For me, writing Mahadev is a spiritual experience. When I write, I don't think that I am creating a scene. I humbly do my best to connect with the energy that already exists. I imagine being somewhere around when Mahadev was dwelling' I catch a glimpse' feel overwhelmed' and write what comes to me then.

I make sure to log in to my Facebook official page and Twitter handle on a daily basis and connect with fans.

I have been lucky to have experienced various aspects of life. I have been teaching Maths and creative writing since 2001.

I spent about 8 years in Radio, working for Radio City, launching Fever 104 FM Mumbai and Heading the programming of Big FM.

Then a few years ago, I took a sabbatical and spent nearly 3 years in my Guru ' Sadhguru's ashram.

So whether I get to write more or not' I will continue to keep my life active.

I'm hoping to visit my home town (Garhwal, Uttarakhand) next month.

Not so much on Indian TV' But yes, I catch Mahadev everyday .

Stop thinking of yourself as a writer. Observe from life' and apply it on your characters' Scenes will write themselves .

Also remember that there is a Shivansh in all of us (just like Jalandhar). The best and the worst exists in all of us. It's about what we choose to enhance. I hope the fans make the journey of self discovery (like Parvati). May all of us make our journey towards Mahadev. "Shiv Sharan mein hum sab chalen"
