When i came to know of the so called "memory-loss" track-the first thing that struck me was Parvati was BORN for Shiva
she was Born to finish that was was left Unfinished by her previous birth Sati
Parvati was born knowing that Shiva resided in her heart-he was special-that they had a connection
then she couldnt forget Shiva COMPLETELY right?🤔
But she did...😲
and the Parvati we see today-isnt like the Parvati we knew
shes confused,anguished,incomplete
sans all her memories of Shiva-hence having almost no knowlege of herself
beacuse the mere foundation of the birth of Parvati was Shaktis love for Shiva
Shaktis that love that first made her take birth as Sati
and on Satis tragic end come back again as Parvati
Shakti resides in Shiva,sans which Shiva is equal to a Shav(corpse)
same applies to Shakti,without her Shiva she too is incomplete
Then we started seeing the flashes of the fondly remembered Vritrasur scene(for those who came late Vritrasur attempts to attack Sati,and Mahadev comes and saves her,Sati touches Mahadev and realizes a "special" connent between them)
i wondered...
why not the scene where Parvati first met Shiva
why not any scene of Chotti Parvati
why THIS particular scene only.
infact when the scene was recreated yesterday the first thing i exclaimed was a WHHHAAATTT?😲 🤪-are these guys crazy?🤣
they want to start a war kya?🤣
ask Aru and Resh they know😉 😆
but then it struck me why they choose only this scene
why Parvati had to go back to that one scene
beacuse that was the scene that in reality started the journey of Shakti towards her Shiva(not in puranas😆...in DKDM)
Sati till then was as comfused incomplete and angished as Parvati was
both in search of thier identity that lay in Shiva.
Having completely forgotten Shiva,Parvati regressed back to being what Sati was prior to that scene
most importantly Parvati entirely forgot her life too-her existance as Shakti
having forgotten Shiva,she automatically forgot her connection with him-her life as Parvati
and most importantly her Life as Sati
Sati and Parvati are the same
Satis life,her tragedy was Parvatis tragedy too
Satis tragic end paved the road for Parvati's birth
Satis pain and anguish was carried forward in Parvatis life too
Satis lessons learnt were the foundation for Parvatis life
Sati was the begining,and Parvati was a continuation of the same story
the story that led Shakti in attaining Shiva once again.
That scene is important-not cos of the romance factor-no it isnt
its important cos that is the point at which Sati realizes that her existance is for Shiva
that Shiva is hers...she is his
and post that one scene the domino effect started-that litterally layed the foundation for Parvatis birth
Satis love for Shiva-Her subsequent marriage to him against Dakshas wishes-Daksha insulting Shiva-Sati giving up her life
all these events kick started Satis journey towards her end as Sati,but layed the foundation for her being born as Parvati.
That scene was a self realization for Sati-about who she was
and going back by going back to that one moment Parvati too
will mark the begining of her realization of who she really is
Beacuse Sati was where it all began...
(PS-this post IS NOT A COMPARISON POST-beacause Frankly i dont view Sati and Parvati as two diffrent people,just coz two actors played them
Sati and Parvati are the same-thier journey is the same
they life is the same,thier love is the same,thier memories are the same
they are one
so please dont start the Sati v/s Parvati fight cos honestly its baseless beacuse Sati and Parvati are one by soul
and maybe this track itself trying to make us realize that Sati and Parvati arent diffrent stories
but are the same😊)
