Thanks for the post. I am confused as I thoguht God Indra's wife is called Devi Shachi..then hwo come this Indrani? Did Indra had two wives?

Indra's wife is Indrani, her name is Shachi.

So soon after Jalandhar there are chances Nahush will become a Snake. it will be good to see how Shachi copes up with Indra's insecurity.

Devi Shachi ( Indrani) has a role in Nahush story

Nahush was made the king of heaven due to his good deeds

but he cast an eye on Shachi and that was his undoing

he was turned into a snake

its a long story

Mansi Sharma to enter Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev

Triangle Film Company's Devon Ke Dev Mahadev aired on Life OK has been witnessing lot of new entries one after the other.

After roping in Amrapali Gupta as Mastyakanya, the production house will now introduce a new character of Indrani which will be played by TV actress Mansi Sharma, last seen in Aasmaan Se Aage.

Sources inform that Mansi who played the role of Sandhya, KC's ( Apoorva Agnihotri) personal assistant in Aasmaan Se Aage will enter the show as Indrani, Lord Indra's wife. The actress had earlier auditioned to play the role of Saraswati but the makers later finalized her to play the role of Indrani. Mansi will start shooting for the role from tomorrow (5 April 2013).

When contacted, Mansi said, "Yes, I have given the look test for the show however I can't comment anything on the role as I am yet to start shooting for the role."

Yup. Indra is a title. There have been other Indras. This has been mentioned/shown on DKDM several times. Indrani is his queen/wife. The Indra on the show is Purandar, the current (seventh) Indra. Purandar's wife is Shachi.

Something tells me they are going to have Nahush's story overlap with Jalandhar's, rather than one following the other.
