SABESHAN , SABIYAL ADDUM EESHAN [ THE SHIVA WHO DANCES ON THE DAIS]

In Suchindram, Nityasundara too got ready for the auspicious moment.

In place of his tiger skin was Pattu Pitambaram, the rudraksha turned into precious gems and pearls, his matted hair was bejeweled and looked like flowing gold, Vasuki too turned a slithering, glinting golden snake, its eyes red as rubies.

He wore a Kada around his wrist and a single Chilambu [anklet] on his left leg. Ash covered his forehead, chest and arms. The blueness of his throat seemed enhanced, He stood tall, his all seeing eyes perceiving everything that was about to unfold.

His Gan Prets, Rishis, devotees, danced around him, Holy ash filled the air,

Everyone watched as Shiva raised his left leg , his right hand in blessing, the drums beat a beautiful rhythm.

SABESHAN started the slow graceful Anandatandavam.

The devotees could hardly breathe as their eyes were magnetized by Sabiyal Aadum Eeshan [ shiva who dances on the dais].

Parvathi too watched, her feet beating in rhythm with her Nataraja.

Shiva's eyes invited her,

Shakthi's spiritual being joined him in the cosmic dance.

Together they Pulsed

In union they flowed,

Their moment as one

They danced in bliss.

Their feet in harmonious to the beat of the damaroo, Chanda Kottu [ similar to drums] and sound of conch.

Narda sang,

Nandi kept beat with Mrudanngam.

Energy ebbed and flowed through ShivaShakthi.

Brahma, Vishnu, Saraswati Laksmi and all of swarg lok watched entranced and enthralled.

Down below in Suchendram, the procession slowly started dancing towards Nanjil Nadu.
