Came across an intereing interview of producer, Nikhil Sinha on rival site.
He says, about being producer of a high profile show.
I and the entire crew are happy and proud to be associated with it. The production team as well as the entire cast works with so much of dedication that the result ought to have been positive. It's considered to be the best show so far and is still counting on the appreciation angle.
He had never in his dreams, thought this show will reach such a height. The hard work of everyone connected with made it possible. The entire credit of the show's success goes to the directors because it's they who look after the presentation though at the end, it is the audience that has raised the show to this pedestal. The writers have worked so impeccably on the script which makes the dialogues look so real.
USP of the show is definitely the narration because that has helped us to bond with the viewers. And the characters have gone so deep in their characters that they have instantly connected with the viewers. Right now the show has achieved a different kind of level that is unbeatable.
What's coming up next in the show? The story is about Mahadev's life. Hence, there are many facts which people are not aware of, will be revealed.
Do you see any show as a competitor to Devon Ke Dev...? TV is not a place for competition but a platform where people perform to their best. It's a kind of exam where everybody performs according to their capability. There is no stealing among TV shows; everybody comes up with different ideas and works actively. It's a platform where independent talent is considered.
