But if Mahadev knew that Ganesh is his and Adi-Shakti's son and is created for world's betterment then why will he behead him???Or If all the Devas and Brahma,Vishnu, Laxmi and Saraswati knew that so how his head will be replaced by an elephant had??And by whom??

@rimi-some say the whole head repleacement thing happened beacuse Ganesha was only a creation of Prakriti(Parvati)

and every creation in this world has to have a bart of both Man and Woman-Purush and Prakriti

and hence by the beheading and Mahadev giving him life with an elephants head,he got a Purush element too

there are many versions of the story

If beheading of Ganesha by mahadev and subsequent replacement of elephants head was to include purush element, then why was Ashoka sundari created by Devi Parvati and did not have mahadevs involvement or the purush aspect???

@Jayshree yeah that scene is hilarious but for me as well as provocative. How could a person think that he could be forgiven for his deed because he is Devraj??? Its reminds me the famous line"Janta nahi mera baap kaun hai". Like that Indra said to Rishi Gautam that he should be forgiven because he is Devraj and he has to rule the Swarg?? How many responsibilities does he fulfill as King of Demigods??😡

We use a phrase about this type of matter in our Bengal "Sat Sange Swargabas and Ast Sange Narakbas"- If you befriend with a good you are in paradise and if you befriend with a bad you are in hell. All the Devas have a deep impact of Indra in their mind😡as they stay with him. On the otherhand we can take Nandi's example. He is so humble, loyal and honest. He lives with Shiv and Shakti but still has no ego or pride for that but sometime he feels himself blessed for that.😭+😃
