also the fact that Mahadev left Sati/Parvati when they both needed him the most

and he not understanding thier POV

once a Vairagi always a Vairagi-he never seems to understand a women-not Sati nor Parvati

Parvati is always said to have been very possesive of ShivJi,infact she even worried for him and his saftey

which is why she held his throat during Samudra Manthan

Parvati Ji is said to have had the deepest love for Mahadev

and yes Mahadev returned it back

but i guess the fact that he was a Vairagi-pretty laid back from such emotions made Parvati the more emotional/attatched one out of the two
