Sree or Shree or Sri or Shri is a honorific prefixed with the Indian / Hindu title of respect and esteem. It is an Indian title applied to people and Hindu gods in various languages, derived from Sanskrit.

In Hinduism, Sri (commonly Lakshmi) is the consort of Vishnu. Lakshmi or Laxmi is primarily the goddess of wealth, light, wisdom and fortune, as well as luck, beauty and fertility.

Shree represents respect, esteem, wisdom, light, wealth and fortune!

By Shree Shivji meant all the +ve aspects, qualities a Human should have.

I think the concept of 'possessing' a god is pretty common in our purans. Not only goddesses, but even narad muni and bhakts have been known to occasionally fall in this trap of wanting the god all to themselves. I guess when you attach yourself to such a higher being, it becomes your duty to understand that the god belongs to every one in this world.

How come no one ever sees shiv's troubles? only a woman's tears? Shiv has to constantly protect his bhakts and even those who disregard him, he has to always sacrifice his happiness and life for the sake of the greater good. Is it too much to ask that his adi-shakti place the greater good above herself like he does? How else does one truely become the 'other half'?
I see nothing wrong with Shiv's behaviour. This is not a normal human couple and to be bound by human emotions of desire and need are not becoming of a god or goddess. Even lakshmi left Hari before manthan, but neither complained because they knew there was a greater good in it. that's what being a deity is all about...

The adi shakthi portrayed in DKDM purana is the one insecure. She is the mother of all .DKDM has once more degraded her by saying that she is insecure in her love and was afraid of loosing shiv and therefore DEGRADED ALL OF WOMANHOOD ALONG WITH HER

That's why the concept of becoming Jeeva to Shiv is very important in Yoga. By not possesing Shiv but becoming Shiv through gradual Spirtual developemnt only, all the insecurity gets over. Here Shiv doesn't mean only Shivji but it's the union of Shiv & Shakti combined. Because without Shakti nothing can be achieved not even Shivji himself.

Mina I agree with you. But DKDM kind of twisted that and made parvati look like any other over possessive house wife. 😲

have no words.. just felt bad for parvati & also for Mahadev.. I felt like each of them was right in their place. Mahadev said bcoz he was disturbed.. and he was just like " Indra ka gussa Apni Biwi pe utara .. aur wo bhi kitne pyar se 😭 " itne pyar se ki main ro di.. 😭

And Yes I agree to Meenu di.. Without Shakti .. shiva is just a Wire without current...
He just wanted to say that there are more Ashudhis are left to be diminished asap.. so that the world can be frighten free and stay calm and composed.. and Parvati is the mother of all the world.. this is so obvious that she wont feel insecure.. 😊

Parvati is not possesive or she would have thrown tantrums & stopped Shivji from going today, she would have stopped him from drinking Halahal, or helping others in need. Shhe would have claimed him as hers only after her penance. 😆
They do have their family life but their duty is more important for them.
Just overlook what doesn't appeal & accept the good part.
