@lucy-Ganga didnt raise him-it was the Kritikas,hence he had the name Kartikeya,i dont think they would have changed that!

but Ganga was like a Mom to him😃

according to the article shiv gives importance to foster mothers etc etc.. But I am interested in one thing..Does mahadev have the right to make decision regarding who all can claim mother hood to the child. Parvati has an equal right here. But looks like everything is being decided by mahadev.
Hope we are not going to flood waters from parvati again. I also thought that the kartika sisters only nourished the child and skanda was brought by parvati herself. why has mahadev said he will remain with the sisters that too for love. Is parvati no capable of love?? [ assuming the write up by rival site is correct]
Will that give parvati reason to bring in ganesha?? hmm
