Mahadev and Ganga never had anything between them-i rather have them spice up things between Mahadev and Parvati than get Ganga in between...

also Mahadev is a God,we worship him,and showing him in a love traingle would have offended tons of people!

i guess many of us forget that its a "God" show so many things will naturally be cut off and not shown!😆

the Ganga and Mahadev relation was something that was written about in Kalidasas Kumarsadharvan-so many of the things written in that are inserted to spice up the story and werent really true!

as per the puranas they had no relation at all

but here Parvati is annoyed because in a way she has to share the parentage of her son with so many people!so she is cursing Ganga out of motherhood!

Kalidas did not invent that out of thin air. There has been a theme of Ganga-Parvati jealousy, fighting for Mahadev's affection in the myths and legends. In some places, there are folk tales, tribal lore and legends of Shiva's infidelity and Parvati being upset about it. In Bengal there are folk tales where Ganga is married to Shiva before Parvati. It is sometimes reflected in ancient sculptures too. Of course this particular line of beliefs/stories is no longer in vogue now and they are basically being forgotten but they were there.

Parvati is behaving like any normal mother...Just tht she is a supermom with extra powers😛
So she is on a cursing spree...Mother and child have strange attachment...mom's are like tigress when its come to protecting their kids they dont see logic
I am saying it frm my experience...I feel extreamly protective when sombody tries to get over friendly with my toddler...
Here to her son has been kidnapped and instead Ganga bringing him back to her she has decided to keep him and even named him as Gangaputra...Poor Parvati has not even seen her son n he's being passed around like passing the parcel 😆...no wonder she is pissed off.

How would anyone woman feel if her sister takes her newborn baby and decided to name him.😡
Logically Ganga should hav brought kartikeya back to Shiv-Parvati...atleast she could have informed them...she lives in Shiv's head for god sake was it so difficult ??
anyways in mythology in said everything happens for a reason even shraaps have some significance.
