Mnx, thanks for the update.

The thing that's surprising is Tarakasura giving his sons not just the idea, but the edict to construct & live in Tripur. In the original, the 3 of them did ask not Mahadev, but Brahma for a boon about the 3 forts. In the ACK Tripura, they are shown as appealing to someone for protection after Kartikeya killed Tarakasura - I forget who. At any rate, Tarakasura had nothing to do w/ Tripur himself, unlike what they're showing. Just like he wasn't around when Sati was. Also, those 3 were not in a revenge mode, unlike other asuras who saw their relatives get killed or humbled - be it Hiranyakashyipu, Bali, Mahishi, Banasura among others.

But aside from that, they showed the Trupur conditions accurately - Maya danav did construct it, and he did bestow on it the condition that the only time it could be destroyed was if all 3 cities were in a linear path. Also, another thing - since those planets would be moving randomly, the probability of them being in a linear path would be just one in thousands of years, and that too for a split second - there was nothing there about them stopping movement. It's like when one plays one of those shoot 'em up games - if one's reaction times are quick enough, they get their target, but if they are too early or too late, they miss. That was the same challenge before Rudra when he went to destroy the 3 fortresses. Not only did Tarakasura have nothing to do w/ it, but had Rudra missed, those 3 forts would have again continued for another thousands of years.

Please let them not show Tripur being destroyed before Tarakasura is. It'll just make no sense.

The other parts - when they showed Parvati @ her maayka, couldn't they just show her happy and enjoying w/ them for a few days? Instead, having her cry all the time she was there was just stupid. And yeah, as someone else pointed out, Shiva & Parvati used to visit Himavan often - it's not like after Parvati got married, she never saw them again. Besides, even in this Triangular Films Purana, they could have shown Himavan inviting Mahadev & the Ganas over (since Swadha is gone, the Ganas should have no problems, and besides, Parvati seems to have refined them, so they could have shown their good behavior to a beaming Menavati. 😆 The separation track made no sense.

Parvati's dream seemed strange. Usually, we only dream about people or things that we've seen - how does a baby that Parvati has never had enter her dreams? 😕

Also, as is well known, Rati never cursed Parvati, but even allowing for that, when Shiva restored Kama to her, they could have shown her redacting that curse. Parvati doesn't have to be shown cursed in order to justify them showing Kartikeya & Ganesh being externally born. Just show it like it happened - no need to explain if the explanations ain't there - we'll trash it out here 😆

Also, how is now the time to show the Amarnath caves story? Didn't Mahadev give those sparks to Vayu & Agni, and they took it to Ganga, who took it to the Shravan forrest? Is that anywhere near Amarnath? B'cos if it ain't, how does Parvati surface there when the Kritikas get hold of her 6 babies?

Shruti, I was actually hoping that we'd see Parvati the peahen. But now, once Kartikeya is born, it would be ridiculous for them to show any more marriages of his parents - wouldn't he have to be there? So I think we are past any more Shiva-Parvati marriages.

@Vrish-i guess the reason why they have got Tarka in the Tripur story is to put forth a revenge drama thingy(perhaps)...also here they are making Takki responsible for everything, hence putting all the balme on him!
most likely the way Takki said-it should be completed before Shivas son is born, implies that most likely it will be finished after Skanda is born

Parvatis dream was actually something like her seeing the future, and indication to her that she will have a son!it was kind of symbolic!

i dont know why but the Cvs LOVE amarnaath...🤣...this is the second time they are going there!

i do not think we will have any separation after this people are honestly fed up of the constant judaai between them!

The cvs are actually mixing two tales for Skandas birth-they are retaining pretty much of the orignal story, that Agni Dev contains Mahadevs "ansh" after which it passes on to many people leading to Skandas birth, without Parvatis knowlege
only here they are going to make it family friendly, they are going to show Mahadev and Parvati dancing as a metaphor of them making love(which was in the scriptures),and instead of Mahadevs vital fluid they are going with the "spark" generated from Mahadev and Parvati.

Vrish, if they show Mahishi then Mahishasur will have to be shown, which is not part of Parvati's story. But Mahishasur is welcomed too, if they want to show. The only problem is Indra will have to be out of Swarga most of the time. Regarding Tripuras becoming stambi, it is true most of the planets before getting into retrograde motion, are stambhi for sometime before they start moving again.
Tripuras will not be destroyed before Tarakasur's end, he is a dynamic Asura, after he is gone they'll need many more just to match him alone.
Seeing good TRPs they may not be ending this show soon.

Funny I should see this now. Coincidence

Parvati worshiping Shiva in the form of a peahen happened, here in Chennai. In fact -right here- where I am standing now. At the famous Shiva- Parvati (Kapaleshwarar - Karpagambal) temple in Mylapore.

It has no connection with Kartikeya's birth. And yes, pleased with Parvati's worship, Shiva comes and claims her, once again. It is not a marriage in the strictest sense. There are several accounts of Parvati coming down on Earth and worshiping Shiva in myriad ways like Kamakshi in Kanchipuram or Akhilandeshwari creating a water lingam (at a place called Tiruvannaika) and offering worship.
