Sati & Parvati both are different forms of Aadi Shakti. It's Natural if we are very attached to one it get difficult to accept the otherone inspite of knowing, both are same. Irrespective of the Chemistry among the actors palying Sati, Parvati & Shivji, the story, characteristic, the circumstances are very different of both these forms. I disagree with Sati's portrayal by the makers. She was a very strong character, I do see Dasha Mahavidyas in Sati, which is her true self. Her time was limited on this Earth, as per the boon given to Daksh by her. On other hand Parvati is milder version, who is with Shivji even today. Want to see her Durgama & Kali form soon.

For me am loving the current phase in the show. I loved Sati and a story I was not much aware of but I did love it more because of the brilliant portrayal by the actors.
I am completely crazy about the current track though and witness the most divine and beautiful event of all time. The marriage of Shiv and Parvati his mate and consort for life.

P.S: Sati (Mouni) did a great job but honestly loving Sonarika (Parvati) and have had no problems adapting to anything really. As the casting has been just brilliant for both those characters and if asked if I wanted any change I would say a big "NO". Love DKDM 😃

@ bold
I agree with u Meenakshi , Sati is indeed a very strong personality who even being a princess forsook ed all the luxuries to achieve Shiv. Here in dkdm she is merely a child.
But still we love that child😃

i liked mouni a lot as sati...i was doutful about sonarika as parvati but when i saw her my all doubt went away..i am now crazy lover of monarika and shiv-parvati...i miss shiv-sati but i love shiv-parvati
and about chemistry ofcourse monarika has a great chemistry..actually parvati's story is different from sati...parvati from her birth is devoted to shiva..but sati took time to realize her feelings that's why we got to see those love blossoming moments of shiv-sati
acually for me shiv-sati were lover when shiv-parvati are soul mate
but i wish to see shiv-parvati romance and intimacy afte marriae..coz they were very passionate in romance..

Aww Di!!
I understand your feelings, I know its hard to let go of things we are passionate about. Our fav starts, thought we never compare the new n the old one; still we somehow cant accept the former.

Hope you find some respite soon..
Thanks for the post dearest di..🤗
Wish for the best.

Lots of love

I do not miss the past as I am completely in love with the present of the show which is so beautiful and especially now after witnessing the grandest wedding ever.
Liked Mouni but love Sonarika. Am sure the makers of the show must be so proud and happy about their decision to have cast her.
All said and done whatever happens it happens for the best and we all love this show to the core. The future only looks more brighter.😛

What I learnt from the story is Sati was unable to be the ardha bhaga of Shiva as she was unable to cross boundaries of human body; in spite of the fact she is married to the Lord. Her love had made the Lord himself to come earth to love her. And that was her incredible & selfless love. Sati was a little stubborn I felt, but which lady is wouldn't like to show a little stubborness to her beloved.? But that made her pay a lot. She must not have forgotten He is the Lord though he is her beloved. And She again reincarnated as Parvati and got Him back with her devotion & unconditional surrender herself to him in his love. She needed to cross boundaries of her body & prove herself for him. I love Sati for her innocent & pure love. And I love Parvati for her unconditional surrender in his love. For me, both makes no differences; only the skin has been changed. As the Lord Himself said; true love never relates to the outer beauty, but to the inner beauty. I love both Sati & Parvati equally and I love to consider them as only one- the love of the Lord.

Hi
I have been waiting for your post for a long time. Seeing the wedding of the year on tv yesterday bought back a lot of memories of Shiv and Sati Mohit and Mouni. And I like Sona but don't love her like I love Mouni. Like you I am gaga nuts abt Mohit and Mouni and there place will never been taken by anyone. Whenever I see Sona with Mohit I tend to forget that she is in the scene with Mahadev as my eyes stay frimly rooted to Mohit only. Eg when Mahadev's bharat came and he changed his roop to the chandershekar roop my eyes just saw him and only him they forgot abt all the other people around him. I know it is bad but I can't help it. I also feel the electrifying chemistry is not there between Mohit and Sona. Whereas with Moihit and Mouni everything was on fire. They were and always will be a perfect jodi. As for the wedding it was good as the atomsphesere and the ambience made it feel like a real wedding. And Mohit was the MOST HANDSOME DASHING GROOM we will ever see. II just saw him again and was happy that he got married in the most lovely roop ever that of Mahadev. I am off to see episode again as I need to see Mohit again.

I feel , most people are missing Mauni because she was more ethereal than Sonarika , and much deeper into the character ,
whereas Sona is more superficial till now ..
Maybe because she'd young and has not been through a gamut of emotions in real life so far .
Sona looks good and Mohit is a smasher ..

But I found the side tracks of Shiva meeting with Parvati before the wedding and then vanishing off to bring clothes and other stuff , totally unneccesary and a waste of precious airtime ..

we have to understand that sati and parvati are the same- they are both adishakti- there is no difference between them...
think of them as the mother of this universe & truly try to see them as goddesses rather than mouni and sonarika! this way you will understand that they have the same soul.

sati's life may seem very sad but it paved way for adishakti and mahadev's union forever... sati paved the groundwork for parvati- adishakti took birth two times and both times to be united with shiv... without the form of sati, parvati wouldn't have been able to truly be united with mahadev😊
