Glad you agree!😆😆 Manthara looks fine to me...she has that crooked, villainous expression, but we'll have to see if she lives up to the role.

See the promo posted in the previous page. They finalized Manthara, Kaikeyi, and Dashrath. Manthara and Kaikeyi look fine, but Dashrath looks like a Jewish actor from Jesus's days.😆

I think they may have. I remember that when promos came out for Imagine's Ramayan, they used a random actor for Ravan but then finalized Akhilendra Mishra later on.
Neither can I ever forget Imagine's Ramayan. Besides the leads whom no one can forget, I don't think it'll be easy for me to get rid of the images of Pankaj Kalra as Dashrath, and the three queens also. They all were so good, especially Pankaj Kalra who was one of the best Dashraths.😍 I also really liked the actor who played Raja Janak. I never did find out his name, but his affectionate tone of voice won me over immediately.

I guess it becoz, Sagar arts want a good hit show, in short time as their last two shows were a failure (Dwaarakadeesh and Asmaan se aage) so may be they thought to go with ramayan so that they need not do a lot of back ground work wiht it.

But the kikeeyi looks like Ankitha (Archana in pavitrrighta0 for me, doesn any body felt like that?

any hwo I am having leats hopes on this to be a success. and I wish that some one take Bhagavat as a story.

Dasharath looks familiar because he is Rishabh Shukla, the actor who played Shantanu in B R Chopra's Mahabharat and Shri Krishna in B R Chopra's Mahabharat Katha. He also used to do other shows in the 90s.
