Barbie doll. I had the whole bed, bath set and 5 or 6 barbies and the song 'I am a barbie doll in a barbie world' by Aqua was my fav. Haha.

-All kinds. Mostly indian channels and english.

-Storytelling mostly and religious too.

-All the gods are my favourite. But I am more inclined towards shivji.

-Dashain(vijaya dashami), deepawali(diwali), fagu purnima(holi), haritalika teej, shrawan somvar, shivaratri

Are you interested in all mythos, some mythos or just the ones about Mahadev?

-I am interested more in history than mythos. But I like mythos too...that are about any god..esp mahadev.

Have you visited Janakpuri (ancient capital of Mithila and Sita's maayka)? How is it?

-Nope. It lies in the eastern region of Nepal and I visit the west the most. My ancestral home's there.

Have you been to most of the religious places associated w/ Mahadev, such as Kailash? How are they? Or are they inaccessible (if so, which ones)

-Pashupatinath, Gosaikunda.
Not been to Mukhinath but it is a very big risk for ppl having asthma or blood pressure probs to visit Muktinath. Plus there are lots of mountains, so lots of plane accidents.

There are more devi temples in Nepal.

-Not at all. I am sry but more than 80 percent of the people here are hindus. And...I just don't like the change.
But there still is harmony here. Buddhists visit temples, hindus visit gumbas.

I read somewhere that every ruler of of the former Nepali dynasty was regarded as an avatar of Vishnu. Is that true?

-Very true. They are considered as Budhanilkantha-the sleeping Vishnu. If a king sees the idol live, he will die on the spot as it will be like vishnu seeing his own image.

You mentioned you're a student in Bio. Thinking of becoming a doc, or something else in mind (e.g. botanist)?

-Doc right now. Lets see. I still hav 1 yr to go.

How many places have you travelled? Both within Nepal and outside? Have you seen Mt Everest? Which places in the world would you like to travel?

Nepal- pokhara, gorkha, palpa..umm..that's it.
India-vrindavan, mathura, delhi.

No. Haha. Its far frm ktm, in Solukhumbhu. My mom would never let me go there.
