I think its only give in DS and no other puran confirms it but I read one Shlok where Saraswati is refereed to as Shiv Sahodara ie one born togather with Shiva

Yes, Vishnuji is a brother of goddess durga, Do you remember Krishna's birth story. Durgaji has taken birth from Mata Yashoda's womb and Krishna from Mata devki's womb. Both were exchanged by Vasudevji. When Kans tried to kill her, she takes the form of durga and tell her - How can u kill me? Your killer has already taken birth. :)

After which that girl goes to Vindhyachal and stay there. She kills Shumb, Nishumb Asur(some another asur).

It is said that Asurs are kiled by both Durga devi and Shri Krishna.

This is the reason of complete killing of asurs.

Only thats the reason we are safely living in kalyug 😆

From Murti-Rahasya of Durga Saptashati,

In the beginning, Goddess Mahalakshmi, Mahakaali & MahaSaraswati each created a male & female from them. Mahalakshmi named the one created by her Brhma & Lakshmi. Mahasaraswati named the one created by her Vishnu & Uma(Gauri, Shiva). Mahakaali named the one created by her Shankar & Vidya.

So Vishnuji & Parvati are Bro-Sis.😊

It just occurred to me how Parvati is surrounded by an amazing family of men (i know i know, they're not men, but you get what I mean, right? 😆) - she has a wonderful father, a wonderful brother, and will have the most wonderful husband and sons!
