Thank god it was only a joke..😳... it will be very strange if they put this dark complexion track in this show ..an i agree Mohit isnt white shinned..they should skip this track..

I think the authenticity of that story is questionable. Somehow, anything that finds its way into tradition develops an aura of authenticity, regardless of its origins. Examples include Lakshman rekha in the Ramayan, Luv Kush fighting and defeating Rama's army. Same goes for the story about Sati meeting Rama & Lakshman, and Shiva then following Rama's example by honoring her as his mother.

I do hope they don't show that - somehow, I'm not liking some of the things they chose to show, like Vishnu chopping up Sati.

OMG, how much u mixes up the story,

Parvati was not of dark completion, she was very beautiful. She became dark when, there's a story about that:

When all devtas come and pray to Goddess at himalyas: (namo devye, maha devye...that prayer come from that only.) they were praying to goddess to come and kill Shumbh-Nishubh. Parvati came there to ganga river to bath. She saw all devtas there. She asked them whom u all are praying?

Then from Parvati, devi Ambika emerged, and answer her that, Shumbh-Nishubh se tiraskrit devta, meri hi stuti ker rahe hai, After emerging Ambika from Parvati, Ambika called kaushaki and Parvati color become dark.

This was the story of Parvati became dark. (taken from Durga Saptshati)

Sorry to butt in 😆 but I didn't understand that chopping of Mata Sati to create Shakti Peethas? I always thought that Bhagwan Vishnu using his power(not Sudarshan Chakra) slowly made Mata Sati's body fall so as Mahadev walked in mourning a piece of the body fell to the ground on Earth? Here though, they decided that Bhagwan Vishnu used the Sudarshan Chakra and in one instance the body parts fell to Earth?! It didn't really make much sense. I mean if the other way was shown then the logic that parts of the body falling on different areas of the Indian subcontinent but here it would suggest that all the body dropped to exactly the same place would it not?

You know what i LOVE about this forum...that thread koi bhi ho-we always get to learn something from it...

Mohits actually very fair-hes a Kashmiri yaar-see his offscreen pics hes gora chitta😳...but for some strange reason they put Mohit tan make up in the show...

and i agree with Vrish,it will be kinda silly if they show Shiv calling parvati Kali beacuse Sonarika is very fair..it will look hideous..

but as Sweet24 said,they can get that story for the manifestation of Kali...

Life Ok has uploaded the new promo,the girl at the end is Sonarika-she has a sweet smile though!
