so finally we have got our Parvati

its Sonarika Bhadhoria

she is approximately 20 years old(i know pretty young),she is from Mumbai

and was last seen in Tum Dena Saath Mera

and for those who havent seen her yet,she looks like this

all discussions reltyed to her playing Parvati should be made here ONLY

but bashing,tauning and snide reards wont be tolerated as its against the I-F COC

also please no comparisons to Mouni,Mouni was special,is special and will always be so,so no comparing please😊

shes pretty no doubt-but by taking her i think Nikhil Sinha has taken hand a HUGE task-hell actually have to mould her as Parvati!beacuse shes very young and in a way doesnt have much exprience,shes almost like clay!

regarding her previous show,i wont comment on that,and ill personally say give her a chance-we gave Mouni and Mohit a chance two very contemporary actors who played very traditional roles...and they excelled at it...maybe NS may be able to get good stuff out of her,her last role demanded that she should be all simpering and winpering,so we cant write her of

the whole Parvati phase has just begun,so give her and everyone else a chance...if you still think it stinks,then leave the show...

She certainly has the 'innocence and purity' that Nikhil Sinha wanted to see in Parvati...but isn't she too young for Mohit's Mahadev?

Anyway, I don't dislike her enough to quit the show even before she makes an entry😆. I'll definitely give her a chance.

Why is she 'too young' to be Parvati? Parvati's just been born, and will grow up, and do tapasya, and ultimately marry Shiva. Somewhere along the line, Parvati will have to be a 20 year old, @ which point, she'll be exactly Sonarika's age.

It's true that Parvati married Shiva after 1000s of years of tapasya, but nobody here is expecting a 1000, or even 100 year old woman to be cast as Parvati 😈

I'd like to see how she plays out. She'll have plenty of time to practice. Also, I had a pretty low expectation from Mouni as well, but she turned out to be great. So it's only fair that Sonarika gets a similar opportunity.

Just b'cos her previous serial bombed doesn't mean that she doesn't deserve to be looked at again.

@Sub-Rosa-established actors actually run away from Mythos beacuse they fear of getting typecast,Mouni and Mohit were very brave to take the risk...

I guess how she will look as Parvati will also depend on how they style her-i guess shell get long flowy clothes like Maina and Ganga...lets see,theres still time for her entry,she has lots of time to work on her stuff!
