Mouni roy as Parvati - Page 3

I agree that mouni has great potential to do parvati role but CV's have another option to put another actress when ther is need of shakti, kali chandi etc.

In other serials like Jai mata ki and om namah shivay there approach is to glorify aadishakti and shiv but here DKDM is a serial which have a very romantic approach they have simply shown love between sati and shiv with reference of puranas. They are very well to maintain charm and facts altogether. So there must be something new wid shiv parvati story. How she is dedicated to shiv and put efforts to get him by her continous tapasyas and somehere it is written dat she was firstly became maid of shiva as her entry in kailash and by her tapasays and sacrifices she ultimately got shiva. So mouni can do justice with this role but let see what happens

But the question is do we have any confirmed news on mouni truly moving on. I agree with shruti on that if it is she who wants to move on then the decision will be respected but then again after gaining appreciation for her acting prowess even from the critics through DKDM I seriously wonder if she really wants to move on

Mouni was fab as Sati.. She is a versatile actress and I am sure she can enact the character of parvati as well. But its all in the hands of PH. Lets hope for the best

Mouni would suit the role- absolutely; no doubts about it.If Sati takes re-birth as Parvati, then it is only fair to have the same actress play the role and besides, Mouni is a brilliant dancer.

i am ready to accept another artist as parvathi... mouni was good as Sati, yet somewhere during the Adishakti scenes i felt she missed the grandeur... Sati was more childlike in her relation to mahadev, a bit insecure, gullible and stubborn.
Parvati i have always felt was a more mature person... confident in her devotion...i wish for an artist with beautiful, big eyes... don't know if its coz i am a mal, i've always had a thing devi with deeply kohled eyes, like the dancers...

The biggest suspense is ther will mouni play parvati or not. In today's epi they showed parvati will come soon. they also shown ma aadyashakti but not her face. After shiv parvati vivah now story of Ganesha will be shown she has to act mother of two children and Like that of other serials they have to show Mahishasur mardan, shumbh nishumbh and other stories. she has to sit on Lion with 16 hands etc. Can mouni justify these roles with her delicacy..

ur reference is om namah shivay long serial? in wich gayatri did all these roles along vth parvati. then this is not considerable as different shows have different stories, diff thinking, diff source,etc. and already, Bhadrakali that was shown was not Mouni Roy. it means two things that it shud hv been mouni roy only to play bhadrakali as shiv the actor himself played veerbadrah but sati was shown dead so other lady was shown as bhadrakali to avoid confusion in auidience or this was done as the story wat they must be believing that all other forms of Devi have diff faces. so, in that case, the lady playing parvati also might not be shown as Kali, Durga etc but she will surely shown as Shakti becoz mouni played shakti too. This show actually was to be named as SATI but Shakti lived as Sati for short time and hence the serial cud not have been for longer time. hence, was named Mahadev and Shiv was made central character.

@Armu-i guess the reason they didnt show Bhadrakali as Mouni was maybe because it would be strange if mouni played it as Sati is already dead at that point of time-also she emerges from Shiva and not Sati maybe thats why...

i so badly want Mouni to be Parvati-only ShivJi and the Cvs know whats happening!
