Very beautifully they portraited the emotional verdict of Mahadev , The name itself the source to calm him down ,Vishnuji is always clever ,even to handle our Mahadev ...too sad to watch him ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so later they are going to show him in deep Meditation or in wars ...i curious about it...

When she wanted to marry Shivjishe told her mother about her wish. who made all the arrangements for her to do the Nanda-vrat successfully. Sati did the Nanda vrat for 1 year, after compeletion of the vrat only, she married Shivji. That's the Shiv Puran version.

thanks for the info...still confused if nanda vrat ws completed than why CV's showed it as incomplete and by this it also means that Sati ws fully yogya of shiva. Dont knw which version CV's has shown us...

They have played with some important facts mentioned in the original story. Nanda vrat is one of them. Only in CV's version she was ayogya, all the purans show her as divine & yogya only. this was done to justify their Sati being human version & made all the mistakes.

I think Mahadev gets calm after Daksh's decapitation which is done by Bhadrakaali n Veerbhadra..(different sources mention either of them who decapitated Daksh) and after cutting of Sati's body into 51 pieces by SudarshanChakra by Vishnuji...Since He is Lord of all Senses,He knows hw to control them too...
