I have been one among those using this word 'stupid'. And I still feel that my use is justified, I have been referencing not to all the show, but particular events, especially two last epis.
It doesn't mean that the whole show loses value, and i even think that those criticising the show in general, do it under the influence of disturbed feelings, especially because these criticisms come altogether in such moment in the series.
Someone feels pain because Sati is going to be immolated or Mouni possibly living the show, I'm more stressed about Sati's portrayal, and just don't want to agree to it silently.

Guys one thing... HAd Sati been matured and had she had that spiritually inclination in that birth she wouldn't have got herself immortalized like that infront of the whole world...as Mahadev said it her Humanness was dominating as she was brought up in a palace note that she was apple of their eyes..she was pampered and Daksha being the father they even got his qualities if not the upbringing was such...see Vijaya she had her father's pride, ignorance and that superiority trait. And being a human all these attachments and sanskaras (Impressions) n Kaam,Lobh,Krodh,Ahankaar,Prem,Devesh etc are the nature of any human and no one can fully control them unless ummm conditions applied. How can we expect Sati being human not act like one..she had to be like that to complete the story..this was all preplanned by the destiny and even Mahadev ebing trikaal darshi couldn't stop it from happening eve after trying his best..could he stop her from self immortalizing ??

In all this finding what is true or what must have happened is unimportant...the main essence of it is to be learnt

For example:
If one asks a Scientist what is (a+b)^2 what would he say|?

he says (a+b)^2 = a^2+b^2+2ab...BUT why would one use a or b?? why should u use them??
The answer is simple to show a formula the working of it we use 'a' and 'b' merely as examples.

Likewise to show the Truth to teach the essence of life or moksha we are being shown it in the form of a story..Kya hua kyun hua is not relevant the basic story the teachings the seekh we are been gifted are we learning it the right way are we understanding it..are we applying it?

@PS: This was the answer that came to me as i watched an intellectual a very learned scholar reciting The Gita's shloka.

And I believe completely different thing, as Shiv Purana and even more brightly and staraighforvardly Devi Puranas say - that's not the reason of self-immolation.
this self-immolation itself is a sacred act, not a mistake made by limmited consciousness.
Daksha's sin of withdrawing Shiv from yagya was great and it must have been stopped by some powerful action!

She didn't go there because of anger at Mahadev, who decided to withdraw from her.
Even in Ramayan version she went to ged rid of the body not liked by Mahadev - strange action from the human point of view😆

Darling Hema,
Thanks for this post
🤗
We have been through this thick and thin yaar!!!
We have enjoyed every aspect of this show and yes we need it remember and have regards for it. This show has had such a tremendous impact on people of all generations.
I am too depressed these days. I know it is well known, it is inevitable But I am not able to take Sati's forthcoming death
We have seen their love, their passion, initial resistance, their magnetic attraction...
We couldn't see their milan yaar😒
It is so unbearable.
Each time I see promo's on Shiva's Rudraavatar, I cry.
His ferocious anger is true reflection of his unbearable pain!!!!😭
